Jewish holidays are not evil. They are historically and prophetically relevant.And at the same time we call the Jewish Holidays evil.
Paul spent a lot of time arguing against the Juda-izers, who argued that we must become ritualistic Jews, first, before we can be Christians --that is an error-- but some [most?] of their rituals are relevant to us in non-ritualistic ways.
Example: Jesus diminished ritualistic hand-washing [Matt. 15], but hygienic hand-washing turned out to be a really really good idea...! ;)
