I have explained repeatedly what the Scriptures teach - that these are the MEANS bu which we received God's grace and the Holy Spirit - not the CAUSE.

HOWEVER - just because they is not the cause - that DOESN't ,ake these things obsolete. God has prescribed these methods - just as He prescrobed that David be anointed with oil by Samuel.
Did the OIL make David a king?? NO - GOD made him a kning - ans USED the oil to designate him.

By its false teaching and unbiblical doctrines the Catholic church is denying the hope of salvation to its membership who are told they are born again because they were sprinkled with water as babies. I pray that all over the world people who have blindly followed the teachings of their priests and bishops will see that they have been deceived and find the courage to leave this cult in their masses and find the truth of the gospel in Jesus alone.

While you are bashing just Catholics, why don't you seek prayers for Eastern and Oriental Orthodox, Anglicans, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Congregationalists and other Reformed denominations: Methodists, Nazarenes, Moravians, and United Protestants and insult them as being a deceived cult. Luther and Calvin, the two pillars of Protestantism, baptized babies. If they were dead wrong, then your splintered fundamentalism is more wrong.

1. It doesn’t say they searched the Scriptures “alone.”

2. The Scriptures they did search were the Old Testament Scriptures to verify that Jesus was the Messiah. Are you saying that the OT Scriptures are sufficient?

3. They accepted Paul’s oral preaching as the Word of God even before they searched the Scriptures, which also poses a problem for you. Do you accept the oral apostolic tradition as well?

4. You cannot find one verse in Scripture that says Scripture is the only infallible authority of God’s word, and yet that is what you presume.
