Supreme Court leans toward allowing ban on youth transgender care

Conservative U.S. Supreme Court justices signaled on Wednesday their willingness to uphold a Republican-backed ban in Tennessee on gender-affirming medical care for transgender minors in a major case that could affect various other state laws targeting transgender people. It doesn't make sense that there are laws about what age kids can buy alcohol, cigarettes, etc. But some people want these kids to have these life altering procedures and surgeries done....crazy.

Ruined their life and it is lifelong, can not go back, Changing hormones in youth means they do not develop normally, they are forever marred physically and mentally. Surgeries to remove and change body parts, no going back. Kids minds are not matured enough to be allowed to make certain decisions, we don't legally let them vote, drive cars, buy drugs, have sex with adults, drink alcohol, fight as soldiers in wars, buy guns. Sad enough some of those are allowed for adults.

Society typically seeks to protect youth from their own selves, and sometimes their parents.

Trans advocates admit children too young to consent to medical treatments, it is the parents who consent.

I have been reading of women who early on force or encourage their young kinds into a transgender life, dressing them as the other sex, telling them they are the opposite sex and encouraging them by treats to play as girls if boys, etc.... and putting them on puberty blockers.

That proverb cuts both ways, good and bad, children are taught to be what they are starting from their youth at early ages. When matured though, they can have developed more critical thinking skills as to what they want in life.
