Dear friend, you have been led astray in your misunderstanding of Calvinism or TULIP. Read the Canons of Dort, and you will see that TULIP is not fatalism. You interpret the Reformed faith as fatalism that has no human responsibility for what happens to us and by us.

No, the direct causes of all that we experience are our own missteps, the devil's attacks, and the fallen world around us. God doesn't CAUSE any of it.

However, at the same time, even though God PERMITS the evil events in believers' lives, he isn't responsible for them. The direct causes are. He allows them in order to bring good out of them for his people. He gave Joseph that insight in Genesis 50:20 that his brothers MEANT their actions toward for evil but that God MEANT them for good to save many people.
