Diagnosis today: Arthritis.
These studies have been a life's work and with 100 passages to quote, at what point will you understand there is no supernatural dragon of evil, nor is there evil spirits wafting around the ether.
Logic must prevail with the removal of unscriptural notions.

We were in the deliverance ministry back in the 70's..
In the 80's , one day I was talking to my lovely sweet mother about the Lord...she was bitter and and always felt rejected..I was talking to her and encouraging her in the Lord.
Suddenly my mum's soft eyes changed...I was being stared at with such hatred. (obviously I recognised the eyes of the enemy, looking through my sweet mothers eyes. )
Then with a voice that was nothing like hers...but a deep, far away, metallic male voice said :- " We hate you and we don't want to talk to you."
I was quite used to that, but was somewhat shocked to hear it from the mouth of my little mother!!
Obviously I told them to shut up in Jesus name...and that I was speaking to my mother, not to them.

No , you can talk as much as you like...you can believe what you choose to believe...but The Day of Judging of hearts is coming...and you have obviously chosen who you wish to serve...the Devil has you bound, and is using to to propergate his lies. His most favourite of all being -" the Devil is not real."

You have so obviously called Jesus a liar here...by saying that when He said they were evil spirits ,and , that when He spoke to them...you say He was just speaking to arthritis or some disease!!

Sadly that what I was thinking about you. Look to Jesus, the way He was, the way He presented and carried Himself..the things He showed that the Father was telling Him to do.....Mostly, the way He so tried to tell the religious rulers and appointed teachers of the Law, of the day, how much they had misunderstood, He also mentions all the extra burdens MEN had added to the Law.
Jesus says He is the EXPRESS 'image' of the Father, so get to KNOW the Resurrected Jesus FIRST, and then you shall get to know your Father...Receive His Holy Spirit, who will teach you and bring you into ALL the truth.
The Bible bring far too much confusion among men, as they don't know how to rightly divide the word of Truth, that takes Gods help, but most prefer to lean on their own understanding of what has been written.
Look to the beginning of Genesis, how our Father wisely separated the Light from the darkness, right off the bat. His 'Kingdom of Light' is a purer form of Light than you can even imagine, and No darkness, No evil, No sin CAN ever enter into it. the two CANNOT mix, like oil and water here on earth.
That is why it tells us, that certain things cannot enter into the Kingdom of God, it's not that God wouldn't want you to enter ( not you personally, but people ), He just made it that way from the beginning, and has tried ever since, to show mankind how to avoid exclusion.
If God has as you claim, darkness and evil in Him for personal use, He would be excluded by His own Word and His own creation.......Simply not so !
If you would take the time to do what Paul suggested...Take everything you think, everything you have achieved and regard it as dung, in comparison to KNOWING Him in the power of His Resurrection.....NOT knowing something about Him someone else wrote about, no, KNOWING Him, it's an offer to all believers, but few it is, who are willing to find it.....
Think on this also. Is The Bible above God ? Or is God above The Bible ? He says :" Have No other gods before me.", so we must make up our minds whether to do as Jesus said and COME to HIM, or stick our noses in a book we have no where near enough 'smarts' to fully comprehend, without Him.
How about it? Care to truly get to Know Him ? Or will you, like so many others, turn your back on that part, and pretend it doesn't exist ? That the fully Resurrected Jesus, doesn't exist ?

Quite honestly I hope one day soon you come face to face with a demon...then lets see what you have to say then.
By the way...in all my time in confronting these dark evil creatures, I have never ever heard one say his name was arthritis!!!
Grief, Pain, Control, Self pity , Fear, Death, Confusion, Bitterness, Infirmity, ...etc etc etc Yes....

By laying a hand on the head of the person that is being ministered to..and declaring the power of the Blood of Jesus and His victory...demons will scream out- " Stop, Stop, not the blood, you are burning me."

That is the awesome power of Jesus Christ and the VICTORY of His cross!
THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.
Not even every Christian realizes the power of the blood of Jesus is available to them every day life, in protection, victory and warfare.

If the blood of the lamb which was painted over the door posts and lintels of the houses of the Children of Israel in Egypt , keep their first born sons safe from the angel of death passing their house. How much more the living Blood of The Lamb of God is our protection and victory over the evil one today!!

I don't know about arthritis, but I do know that some maladies that we now understand were attributed as possession in times past. I can think of schizophrenia.

I haven't followed along really well, but would you say that Jesus could tell the difference between arthritis and schizophrenia and demon possession?

arthritis is self-inflicted too, so to say that she had a "demon" is really not a bad way to put it anyway, even if that suggests that the demon originated outside herself, the Book does not say this. And one may witness spirits "flying around" even in here, so i would rethink that too. Seems to imply that one is unaware the effect that they might have on a room, etc. I was oblivious of this until i was like 30 myself.

I'd go so far as to say that every disease or sickness or syndrome is inflicted by some evil spirit.

Now, I understand schizophrenia is a physical disorder caused by a problem in the physical brain.

But what caused it?
Did God cause it?
NO.
So it must be the evil one.

Here's how I see things:
Everything is either good or bad. I can't think of anything that is neutral -- I'm open to ideas.

Bad things happening to us are caused by:
° ourselves
° other persons
° nature

OK. But WHAT causes that bad thing to happen?
It MUST be the enemy --- it certainly isn't God.

So the disease is from the enemy,
The cure is from God.

what if that is also self-inflicted, and we just don't know the mechanism? what if going around in a constant state of paranoia just eventually induces schizophrenia? We have a couple here on board at the moment even; isn't too hard to prophesy their end. A change of mind would be the cure, iow.

We DON'T KNOW why there's evil or where it came from.
I've stopped asking and wondering about it and just accept it.

the Bible is clear about why there is evil i think; so that one may choose. And while it might be hard to see in the moment, people often choose sickness over health, and complain that "the devil made them do it" later.

Not sure if you have read all Face2Face's posts in all the threads.
We have moved now from demonic spirit and Satan which F2F says are not real.
My issue with this teaching is that it makes the NT and the words of Jesus and Paul of no effect..in fact = calls them Liars!!

It says :- Mark 3:10- "For He had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon Him for to touch him, as many as had plagues. And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God. And He straitly charged them that they should not make Him known.

And He ordained twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, AND to cast out devils"
We either believe this... or we don't!! Then, if there is no such thing as demons and no Satan ....all just a figment of our imagination... then we may as well all just quit now.

We all agree that sickness is from the Devil....
This F2F man or woman it is not specified....has for the last week maintained that the Devil does not exist!! Therefor I maintain that he/she is serving Satan because he/she said that they do intensive study to prove this in the none existence.
Real Christian focus on God and His word "and the things which are True, Holy, pure, lovely, or of good report , think on these things."...someone who puts this much effort into their life to convince people that there is no Devil must in my book be doing Satan's work!!

Whether sickness is from the mind of a person is neither here or there...we can often agree that much of it is self inflicted....but whether Satan and his demons are "alive and well" IS quite an important ISSUE .

This is dualism, not Christianity. Good is not dependent on evil to exist; God is not dependent on the Devil to exist. Evil is the broken/misused form of good, it is not an equal or balancing or necessary force. It is not Yin and Yang
