If only you understood what it is you are posting David! In your assumptions you make bold statements about Devils and Demons yet you do not know the context or do your care to look. Even the above post is hypocrisy and you know it.

If you know how the power of death was destroyed through Christ (called Devil) you would say.

You don't therefore you remain in Gentile Darkness.

Isaiah 42 is lost on you as is Acts 26...Hebrews 2 is unknown as is 1 Corinthians 15 and the list goes on and on.

It's not your fault as such but the one coming will deal with this mess!

James 4:6-7
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Lets look at another example shall we?

Then shouldn’t this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be released from this imprisonment on the Sabbath day?” Lk 13:16.

Let's do a contextual study together

Try and identify the adversary in this story.

Really think about the context!
Read all the verses around this story
Work out why its given the title Satan

F2F
Why do you insist on looking at the word "Satan" only when it's used in a few obscure verses, to describe a wicked person. Why don't you consider all the verses that describe, Lucifer the fallen Angel.

Well at last you said something which is truthful! Hooray!

Notice how the word devil here is false accuser and the context is human pride?

Devil = the attribute of fleshly pride

Well done David!

Provide a verse where Lucifer and this fallen angel are discussed in Scripture.

Here is another one!

Context:

2:23 But reject foolish and ignorant controversies, because you know they breed infighting. 2:24 And the Lord’s slave must not engage in heated disputes but be kind toward all, an apt teacher, patient, 2:25 correcting opponents with gentleness.

So after being given the context - who are these opponents? Who opposed Christ and Paul?

Perhaps God will grant them repentance and then knowledge of the truth

So it's possible "there (& your) conversion might be possible!

and they will come to their senses
(still wiating for you C.) and escape the devil’s (false accusers) trap where they are held captive to do his will 2 Ti 2:23–26.

See how the word devil or false accuser is used? You & I know it's speaking of the Judaizers who plagued Christs ministry and followed Paul everywhere!

Hope that helps

All my Posts have the Truth of God's Word rightly divided = key words "rightly divided"

It is very noticeable on this forum when individuals resist God by resisting the Truth.

Devil = the attribute of fleshly pride
"the flesh profits nothing. These words which I(JESUS) speak to you they are Spirit and they are Life."

How are you resisting the devil?

If you don't know the story of Lucifer rebelling against God and being cast out of heaven along with His demons then you really need to go back to elementary school

That doesn't help at all, while you deny Gods Word and make a liar of Him. Yo have consistantly denied the fact that your enemy exists and that leaves you completley open for the enemy to poses you. My Pastor said, those who don't believe that Satan exists are actually possessed by Him and He won't allow them to see the truth.

I think my Pastor hit the nail on the head, he described your theology as the doctrine of demons.

No mention of a fallen angel in that chapter so I guess your answer is no.

And by the looks you are unable to answer that passage also!
Not looking good for you C.

Hi Cyd,
Don't copy and paste the text assuming you know what it means. Each verse has different context and meaning. Choose one and provide an explanation otherwise please don't do that!

I was not sure where to post as you started another thread on angels and you stated this:
"As we shall discover there is no such thing as an evil angel."

So you make it hard to follow all you are saying all you are talking about.

Every text in the Word of God which is referring to Divine Messengers (angels) only has them as willing obedient beings who do God's pleasure.

Nowhere are they spoken of as being evil.

The bible doesn't mention many things but they are there if you know how to connect dots, but you obviously don't get that concept. As I said, only Gods elect can connect the dots, the rest are sealed in darkness, they are utterly blind.

So you agree all of what you know about this is made up?
