I dont watch TV myself, I was looking for a song and I saw this clip pop up and thought I would check it out to see how Jesus with the Samaritan woman was done . I thought this was done wonderfully.

Just the first part of the video (I did not watch the rest of it). I thought it was sweet. I hope I posted it in the correct area, if not just delete it.

Far more sterile when it comes to word for word. I do think the first one (in giving themselves license to portray that part should have reversed the first two husbands of them all (when they imagined what Jesus might say to her). That the first husband would have been the more godly man (perhaps passed away) she then married the second who treated her badly, but you can feel that built in spin towards victimhood of the woman.

I was always wondered if she had husbands who dies one at a time similar to what is shown in Luke 20:29 since Jesus acknowledged them all as her husbands (in the past) but put a difference between them and the one she had at that time (her being not married) as he pointed out.

What appeals to me in the second one is the body language of Jesus. He gives her space.
