Who are the servants? Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Now isn't that the real question to be answered?Rom_6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
When did that happen?
Remember though, He said,
2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV
5) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Not "In trust/faith", rather, "whether you be in THE faith". There is a difference. And maybe this will be something that you think I'm trying to evade something, but I'm pointing you to the specifics of God's Word.
Much love!
Now isn't that the real question to be answered?
Some believe we still have yet to be crucified in Christ, but if you have not been you will not have been born again, and that's going to cause some trouble following Christ, I should think!
Having been crucified with Christ, we are now to "put to death your members which are upon the earth." Very interesting way to put this!
Much love!
What I wrote was,
Someone who answers a question with a question is avoiding the first question.
Much love!
We can look at this passage, but that's not what I was inviting you to do. OK, you seem to actually be willing for something else, but not that, so OK.No I’m not. I said I was willing. So I gave harder and more bitter food to see if you refuse it or answer well.

Anyone God gave something to? I think this answer is rather incomplete. The ones He gave something to.
No surprise. But is doesn't change what the Bible says.I call bull on this. Extreme bull.

And you seem to see a bitterness there that I do not, apparently because you think God torments His children, and I do not. I think you've fully misapplied this parable to God's children, and this is why I asked you who the servants in Jesus parable are.

Go back to the standard wording there, it may make more sense. To be sure, I think saying "trust" is great, however,What is the difference between trusting God and THE trust of God…?
I answered. The servants are those He gave something to. To whoever is given much, more is required. Or do you suppose the parables are not for us but for someone else…?
Now isn't that the real question to be answered?

Gal_2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
What does this mean?
Dancing in circles, on and on in circles, won't someone have the conviction of their beliefs enough to just say them? But I understand that clear speech makes one vulnerable.
Parables, are they always every one intended to be about every person? To me that question answers itself, no, actually.
So to just say, Or don't you think that's for you, as some kind of accusation, how shallow!
I'm sorry! I'm looking for some real depth to this discussion.
Much love!
Gal_5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
And this?
I'm not one to contribute to your evasion of what I was saying. As I said, I don't mind discussing the parable with you, but you've been alluding to your negative opinions of me, I've invited you to just put them out there on the table, as it were. You responded with this. That's not what I was inviting you to do. As a way around that, it's shallow. As it's own discussion, it's valuable, if done well.If you are looking for depth, why do you run away from the things of more depth?
Just curious . . . do you see yourself as "crucified to the flesh", and me not? This is also speaking of a man who has died. A man who has had his flesh put under his feet and is no more tossed around by it.
