Okay, just started to open up chapter 17. I am sure there are more than a few opinions for the identity of both the Harlot and the Beast. I don't believe at this time in my reading they represent new actors to Revelation, so let me know your thoughts...

(Jerusalem) Is The Whore, Mystery Babylon The Great.

(Jerusalem) is the seven Mount city, where the woman sits, not Rome as many falsely claim.

Jerusalem, Israel: Jerusalem's seven hills are Mount Scopus, Mount Olivet and the Mount of Corruption (all three are peaks in a mountain ridge that lies east of the Old City), Mount Ophel, the original Mount Zion, the New Mount Zion and the hill on which the Antonia Fortress was built.
The Roman Empire didnt exist to be guilty of the Prophets blood seen below, Jerusalem did.

The harlot is the false church. The kings of the earth are the religious leaders, popular denominational preachers and clergy. The false church serves the false Jesus, who was supposedly born on December 25th, the birthday of the Roman sun god. The false church collects tithes from the simpletons whom it has frightened of hell and deceived. This false church exists at the expense of the political system, at the expense of the Adamic civilization, based on the uncontrolled theft of the fruits of the tree of knowledge from God. The beast of this world, whose name is Wealth, has 10 horns on its back like phalluses, and sitting astride the back of this beast, this prodigal religion copulates with this world, following the 10 commandments of Satan.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4)
These 10 commandments of Satan are opposite to the 10 commandments of God:
1. mammon, property is your god
2. make yourself an image of prosperity, worship and serve it
3. conjure and sorcery, pronouncing the name of the Lord in vain, conjuring prosperity for yourself
4. have no rest day or night, engage in money-grubbing: business requires sacrifice
5. the pension fund will take care of the father and mother
6. kill in wars started for the sake of enrichment
7. commit adultery
8. steal, withhold part of your wage worker, engage in usury to get rich
9. lie to your rich masters so as not to get poor; you lie to get people to buy your product or service
10. desire everything and as much as possible, inflame lust through advertising
And these 10 horns will hate the harlot, because they do not need any religion at all, they will simply destroy her "in one hour", which will apparently be a period of one month (for if a day is equal to a year, and there are 12 hours in a day, then one hour corresponds to one month).
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (Revelation 17:6)
What was John so wondered at? He was wondered that these monsters called themselves "believers."
Wow! I was not expecting that kind of response! Why is Jerusalem whore? Why isn’t the Harlot the little horn of Daniel 7- the sea beast? Revelation is revealing the battle between those who obey God and those who have not and will not. There is no better false gospel than that preached by the little horn for the past 1500 years. He even claims divinity, ability to forgive sin, etc.
Regarding the colors you mentioned, there is something for you to consider… these colors do not reflect or mention the color blue which is found in the Jewish ceremonies. These are the colors of the papacy- no blue and adorned with all kinds of gems, etc.
But besides all of that, the Jews are not the enemy of God. In fact, the 144000 represents the remnant (12 tribes) that God will remove the blindness from their eyes as He did with Paul, and for the final 3.5 years they will preach God’s Word and the Testimony of Jesus. This will reveal to the world just how corrupted they have been spreading a false war gospel. The 7 heads are synonymous with the 7 heads in the earlier part of Revelation- they represent the 7 heads of the first 3 kingdoms in Daniel 7- meaning, symbolically, the nations of the world who aligned with the little horn.
Have you done a comparison of the 1/2 hour of silence to this 1 hour time element? Thanks.

It is absolutely certain that 3 hours here equal 3 months, from the fast of 17 Tammuz to Simchat Torah of 22 Tishrei:
At that time shall friends fight one against another like enemies, and the earth shall stand in fear with those that dwell therein, the springs of the fountains shall stand still, and in three hours they shall not run. (2 Esdras 6:24)
This passage corresponds to the interval from the 6th to the 7th vial of wrath:
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. (Revelation 16:12)
This period corresponds to the time of the rapture of the Church, that is, the aliyah of the "five wise virgins" to the wedding feast of the Lord in Israel. The 6th vial (17 Tammuz) is also the beginning of the return of the woman from the desert, where she has been since January 19, 2023, when there was a sign in the form of a cloud in Turkey. This cloud looked like the place from which a woman gives birth to a child, this is exactly what this place looks like a few minutes before the appearance of the fetus's head.
Since we have entered the period of the opening of the seals, immediately after the 7th seal there must be silence in heaven, and this cannot be a long period. Half a month will do just fine.
Since this happened with the three months of the rapture of the Church and with the period between the seals and the trumpets, it is logical to assume that the judgment of the prodigal religion will be very quick, literally in 1 month.

the whore is the false religious system. Some call it the one world super church that worships he beast through the false prophet.
When a woman (here a whore) is symbolic in Scripture it represents either a religious system (most) or a nation (when specified)
And the beast is the antichrist and his political system)
This understanding of the symbolism here is consistent with the use of it in the rest of SCripture.

The harlot is Jerusalem which represents apostate israel,and the he beast that attacks Jerusalem is Iran and ten Muslim nations that hate Israel .They gang up on Israel and overcome it killing the two witnesses in the process.The same thing Israel is doing today to it's neighbors will be done to Israel.

Chapter 17: John sees a vision of a harlot “Babylon the great”, which he is explicitly told is a symbolic representation of “the great city” Jerusalem. The harlot is “drunk with the blood of the saints”, showing Jerusalem’s guilt of persecuting the Church (Matthew 23:34-37). The harlot is allied with the scarlet beast (satan or apollyon), showing apostate Israel’s alliance with the Roman Empire. John is told that the seven heads represent seven kings; these are the first seven emperors of the Roman Empire, beginning with Julius Caesar. This results in the sixth king being Nero Caesar, who was singled out by John’s prophecies in Revelation 13.
The scarlet beast itself is the “eighth” king. The Roman Empire is described as attempting to destroy the Church, but failing (symbolically depicted as the beast warring upon the Lamb). (64-68 AD) In anger at failing to destroy the Church, the Roman Empire turns vengeance upon apostate Jerusalem, the harlot, and destroys her. (67-70 AD)

Your claim is false, scripture teaches the seven heads are "Mountains" not kings as you claim

Because past events in history match revelations events.
Its the revelation of Jesus Christ in who he is and what He did.
Jesus is God and He ushered in the New Covenant
Jesus also told us when it would happen

My Bible teaches the seven heads are seven mountains, the verse ends with a big "Period" verse 10 opens with "And" a completely different subject regarding the seven kings

7 heads that are 7 mountains
10 horns that are 10 kings
Where so the 7 kings come from then? Why even bring them up?

The beast is the opposition to God beast.
The opposition includes:
1. Satan, scarlet colored
2. Mystery Babylon the Great, the spiritual kingdom of Satan and his angels
3. Seven kings of the Roman Empire
4. Ten kings of the Roman Empire manifested in the end times
....the opposition to God beast, described in three chapters, as follows.....
Revelation 17, the opposition to God beast at the time of John, 1st century
7 heads - the seven kings, no crowns, the complete fulfillment still pending (the yet to come king 7)
10 horns -the ten kings (to rule with the beast king), no crowns, the beast-king still in the distant future...of the end times.

Revelation 12, the opposition to God beast at the time the seven years begin before Jesus returns.
7 heads - the seven kings, crowns, the prophecy completed as king 7 has come to power - the little horn
10 horns - the ten kings, no crowns, the little horn has yet to become the beast-king
Revelation 13, the opposition to God beast with 42 months left before Jesus returns.
7 heads - the seven kings, no crowns, king 7 has been killed.
10 horns - the ten kings, crowns, the little horn has become the beast king, that the ten kings rule with him
