Yes, there are many references depending on the particular topic. The greatest of which was expressed by Jesus, saying:

"Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected" (Luke 13:32).

There will be a great earthquake unmatched in man's history on earth that will follow fault lines around the world in the crust of planet earth that will globally break the earth's surface into three segments.

Babylon the great represents man's rebellion at the tower of Babel, and also the spiritual kingdom of Satan and his angels that will have been cast down to earth in Revelation 12:7-9, and in Revelation 18, it says of Babylon is fallen and fallen.

I show that earthquake and the 7th vial in the lower right hand corner of my chart.

There is no word "divided" there at all.

γίνομαι - 1096 Strong's Greek

Definition: to become, to come into being, to happen, to be made, to be done
Meaning: I come into being, am born, become, come about, happen.

We are talking about the New Jerusalem, which after the emergence of the city of Yahweh Shammah, will be in 3 places in Israel:

1. In historical Jerusalem
2. In the Third Temple 30 km south of Jerusalem, in the Judean Desert
3. In the city of Yahweh Shammah near today's Sderot

Revelation 16:17-19 (7th Vial) & Revelation 11:13-18 (7th Angel Sounding) these are "Parallel" teachings that represent the same earthquake and event in the end of this world that culminates in the "Final Judgement"

You will closely note Revelation 16:17 (It Is Done) this is (The End), you will closely note Revelation 11:18 in the "Final Judgement"

You will closely note Revelation 16:18 & Revelation 11:13 (There Was A Great Earthquake)

Revelation 21:6KJV
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 16:17-19KJV
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Revelation 11:13-18KJV
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Come on Marty, how do you turn a city dividing into 3 parts after a great earthquake, into 3 sections of zealots fighting, that's not even grasping at straws

Where do you find that claim in scripture?
In Revelation 16:20, the entire earth is affected by the global extent of the (such as was not since men were on the earth, verse 18) earthquake....

Revelation 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

You made a claim that the city divinding into three parts went around the earth's fault lines, where's that in scripture, it states city not earth/world, is there a possibility your imagination has added to scripture?

For what it is worth, the Greek Root word G:4578 has been wrongly given the meaning of "earthquake(s)," but the reality is that we should understand that its actual meaning is "turmoil."

When we insert the word "turmoil(s)" into our English translations, for the Greek Root word embedded in the six words and found 14 times in the New Testament, then the meaning of "turmoil" makes more sense than the word "earthquake." In Matthew 28:2 how can an Angel coming down from Heaven to roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb, cause an earthquake, however the Angel as it descended down from Heaven did cause great turmoil among the Guard at the Tomb when they saw the Angel descending.

If our premise of how G:4578 should be translated is flawed, then anything that we write about the Greek Hebrew Root word G:4578 will also be flawed and people will go looking of the shortest straw on which they can their personal rational upon.

Shalom

PS: - Attached is how the Strong Definition for G:4578 is presently worded. The Greek Root word G:4579 is used to actually describe earthquakes in the NT.

Because earthquake could be symbolic for destruction as the three sections of zealots divided the city

It does not say directly in the verses that the earthquake will follow the fault lines. But that is the most rationale explanation.

Here is what I came up with last evening and I am comfortable with it:

As the seventh bowl of judgment is poured out, the great city—Babylon—is remembered before God, and its fate is sealed. In a dramatic act of divine justice, the city is split into three parts, a vivid image of its total collapse. This division is not random but deeply symbolic, pointing to the complete dismantling of everything Babylon represents—its political power, religious corruption, and economic greed. God’s judgment is thorough, leaving no corner of this rebellious system untouched.

This scene brings to mind the prophetic imagery in Ezekiel 5:1-5, where God instructs Ezekiel to shave his head and beard and divide the hair into three parts. Each part represents a different fate for Jerusalem as a result of its disobedience and rebellion. One part is burned in fire, symbolizing destruction by famine and pestilence. Another is struck with a sword, representing judgment through war. The final part is scattered to the wind, signifying exile and dispersion among the nations. These three fates collectively highlight the totality of God’s judgment on Jerusalem, leaving no aspect of the city unaffected.

Similarly, the division of Babylon into three parts in Revelation reveals the comprehensive nature of God’s judgment on this symbolic city. Each part could represent a distinct dimension of Babylon’s influence—political, spiritual, and economic—all of which are judged and dismantled under God’s wrath. Just as Ezekiel’s prophecy warned Jerusalem of the consequences of its rebellion, this division of Babylon shows the complete and unavoidable collapse of humanity’s systems that have opposed God.

The splitting of the city also underscores the futility of Babylon’s unity. What seemed like an unshakable and powerful force is shattered before the sovereign hand of God. This mirrors the message in Ezekiel: rebellion and sin ultimately lead to fragmentation and destruction, no matter how strong the foundation appears to be. Yet, even in judgment, there is a message of hope. The dismantling of Babylon clears the way for God’s eternal kingdom, where righteousness, peace, and justice will reign. Just as Ezekiel’s prophecy pointed to a future restoration for God’s people, the collapse of Babylon signals the end of all rebellion and the beginning of a new and perfect reality.

Doug, if Babylon is a symbolic and/or spiritual entity representing "man's rebellion at the tower of Babel" and "the spiritual kingdom of Satan and his angels", then why would you take the earthquake that divides Babylon into 3 parts literally as if it was talking about a literal earthquake occurring on the earth? How can a literal earthquake occur in a symbolic or spiritual city?

You have a new revelation earthquake really means "Turmoil" you must be a Greek scholar "Smiles"!

Strongs citation of "Earthquake" as seen in Revelation 16:18 below says Jay Ross is wrong

Strong’s Definitions
σεισμός seismós, sice-mos'; from G4579; a commotion, i.e. (of the air) a gale, (of the ground) an earthquake:—earthquake, tempest.

KJV Translation Count — Total: 14x
The KJV translates Strong's G4578 in the following manner: earthquake (13x), tempest (1x).

The most rationale explanation is Douggg has a really big imagination
