I'll start off with one question, which I think I know the answer, but I am going to ask anyway.
Why did Jesus & His disciples ignored the thefts of Judas Iscariot?
John 12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. 4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, 5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
How could this fact about the thefts of Judas Iscariot be put in scripture unless it was known by Jesus and His disciples at that time?
Is this an indirect testimony for all believers that regardless of being ripped off or defrauded, Jesus is Lord and our Father in Heaven will still take care of us and even the poor? Are we supposed to let sinners rip us off? Did Jesus put up with Judas Iscariot's thefts, knowing the Father will still take care of even the poor of what little he or she has?
What other example of suffering grief that we are to do willingly with His help as set by Jesus Christ? 1 Peter 2:19-25
Any instructions from any one else in the N.T. about even employers ripping us off? James 5:1-11
I believe that Jesus is Lord is why we are to suffer grief wrongfully. Is that the answer? Do discern with Him at that throne of grace before replying.
Feel free to ask a Bible question but you were afraid to ask, even if you think you know the answer, but you don't like it for what you think it means to you.
In regards to my question, all I know is that Jesus is Lord and my Father in Heaven will take care of me even if I do become homeless. I trust Jesus Christ to be a true blue Friend.
