I've always liked Putin because of his strength of will, but I have to say I like him a little bit less nowadays because of his botched invasion of Ukraine.

Putin wants to return Russia to its glory days which will result in Putin’s demise.
I give him a month or two, then a close associate will but a bullet in his head.

Oil will resume and this fiasco will quickly come to an end.

If Ukraine could not defeat Russia with the MASSIVE financial and military assistance (including American and British soldiers + the CIA) it has already received, then this is just a pipe dream.

And Putin still has his nukes aimed at Ukraine. Macron has already given him the signal that there will be no nuclear response from France. In which case the rest of the Europeans will just sit back and do nothing. So Putin will go full steam ahead if someone does not wake up in a hurry and bring this stupid war to an end.

How do you justify destroying your own borders (and national security) while claiming to protect the borders of some far off country?

How can you reduce extremely serious inflation if you are sending TRILLIONS of dollars to another country, which is not even an ally, and not even contiguous with the United States? So this another aspect of destroying countries from within (just like the sanctions on Russia are destroying the European countries from within). And all this while giving the Taliban total despotic control of Afghanistan and billions of dollars worth of everything one could wish for as a war-monger.
