Let us put this simply. Trump wants to overturn democracy and warned about this before the election. His co-conspirators have declared in open court their desire to get the judiciary to accept non-evidence, non-points of law and find in their favour. For some strange delusion, this alternate reality spread by Trump makes sense. It is equivalent to a revolutionary becoming president and then attempting to stay in office as a dictator.
At what point does a democratic system censor such lying, undermining, self destroying behaviour and cast someone out of office and make sure such a chain of events is not repeated. The excuse is the accusation of massive criminal voter fraud, but is only founded on rumour and slander, made up accusations in the hope they are true.
To counter balance this the supreme court has had this application of evidence from Montana with regard to Texas suit against PA etc.

There is a leeway not to censor or limit certain offices of state out of deference for that office, but when someone demonstrates how this can be abused, it would appear mere impeachment proceedings are not enough.
The foundation of the courts is penalties for lying, for distorting facts, and the conclusions are meant to be truthfully definitive as best these can be drawn within the limitations of certainty. It might dawn on certain individuals the difference between starting off a campaign of prosecutions saying one has irrefutable evidence that if seen would win the day, and actually after going through courts all over the country and failing in all of them to even be worthy of being heard is a sign that it is just delusion. To then hope that because you have appointed judges to a bench to uphold conservative moral values, that somehow overthrowing an election that has no proven vast fraud, is actually the polar opposite of what one stands for or what is just.
Only massive ego and hubris mixed with delusion, where to accept the negative view is not part of how you operate.
Many conservative people will agree the issues Trump often represents are valid and reasonable, which I agree with also, but this approach and dictatorial style is more than just superficial, it is the man himself.
And the press has finally realised the reality. Trump survives on the oxygen of controversy for whatever reason. So he will do anything to get attention, even executing people on death row as his last hurrah. He holds a position of awesome authority but also real limitations. As a captain of a ship, his role is to safely steer the ship through its journey, which is a great responsibility but also not the superman job many think it is, rather a burden few are crazy enough to try and carry.
I am truly sad that such a great flame for conservative values should end in such a way. The issues of the dominance of the individual over obligations and work is the issue of our day, where the smallest injustice is now claimed as something the whole society should fixate on. This is absurd, and self destructive introspection, where the most complex mixture of issues is spoken like victimhood. We stand rather at the precipice of total destruction, similar to the nuclear self destruction of the 60's, but requiring different answers. Trump represents this old view of America as it used to be, like brexit is the old view of Great Britain, but these things are no more, and we need to move on.
