So several hours later, we still don't know the results of Pennsylvania or Georgia.

It was this morning the News station said we would know the results in a few hours.

Otherwise so far this US election has been like an entertaining sporting match, red vs blue, it's been so close.

I am beginning to lose momentum Josho - I expected to wake up to some kind of change with the numbers. They said last night that a result from one of the states was expected within two hours well that was over 8hours ago.

Trump is only leading in Georgia by 463 votes now.

If Trump were to win Presidency he needs to win Georgia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Arizona. Trump really needs to hang on in Georgia though to win.

Where as Biden currently only has to hold on to Arizona and Nevada, I think Biden is going to win Nevada, but Arizona may go back to Trump, but he may just get Georgia, he is really close to it, but those Georgia results are going to have to be thoroughly checked with such a small margin though.

What's interesting though is Republicans are winning in senate 48-46.

Which indicates that some Republican voters voted Biden for President and voted Republican for Senate on their ballot form.

Which is of no surprise to me, this is a Covid election after all.

How many ways this election has been compromised is yet to be discovered, we are probably just looking at the tip of the iceberg, and it could take some time to unravel all that. There will also be court battles over which ballots and which processes are legal. Either way, now is the time to settle it, because if not, it will happen again in future elections. What we are seeing here are the types of issues that we have seen in Communist and third world countries, because they do not have secure election processes and proper verification.

The democrats are trying to push that every person can vote without following any rules. No identification required, no detailed verification....No way to track people going from poll to poll to vote more than once, or dead people voting. Now, how far they got with that I am not sure. But they are in fact handling ballots behind closed doors. They are finding problems all over the place. Either way this is the time to make it clear that elections have to be secure or they are not valid.

The other side of the coin is that our voting systems and processes are antiquated. We are still trying to hold out for the ballots being anonymous, but as time goes on that will not work. Voting will need to tied to social security numbers or official ID's. If you had that you could vote from your lazy boy, and everyone that is eligible can vote. Voting data could be sent to multiple locations...Federal and state...so that all political parties could see them and those numbers would have to agree from every location.

Now I know that some people do not like computers but as you can see the paper ballots are not working. Still you could back up the system with mail in paper ballots that could be used for further confirmation. The neat thing about electronic balloting is that you can confirm your ballot. The future is going to be more technical so the sooner we start planning the better.

As that's a bit unfair, yes the voter should have voted earlier, but at the same time they were given the wrong deadline, but then maybe the mailmen cannot help it, since they are busier than usual with all the online shopping from home going on during the pandemic.

Too much fraud and law breaking during this election. More votes from dead people. They have video of observers being denied access to observe vote counting in Philadelphia and elsewhere, which is illegal. All in Democratic run cities. Such a disgrace! Partisan operation.

There is a problem with having problems with due process and proof of fraud or criminal behaviour.
If one has only a belief or a hunch fraud is happening that is not proof, it becomes slander and antagonism.

It is true that fraud could take place, but then that is why there are thousands of people in place to make sure this does not happen from both sides of the aisle. The further problem is a distinction has to be made between those who believe in justice and truth, and those who are just partisan and hate the opposition to the extent they are prepared to break the law.

Unfortunately the authorities rightly feel some are prepared to break the law and destroy the process of election, which is a threat to the democracy. Little wonder in this situation, they want to protect the ballot counters and have their identity and families protected. It is naive to think extremes of both left and right would not exploit these baseless accusations and descend into violence which has already taken place.

Trump will lose, get used to it. His behaviour in the last 4 days shows why he is not fit for office. As far as he is concerned he believes he has a right to the throne and dare anyone take it from him.

The courts and lawyers are there to support claims of fraud if can be shown. As followers of Jesus, it is truth that is paramount, not baseless accusations. If one becomes partisan, you have left the faith and fallen into sin. Partisans show their colours when things turn against them, and their base is threatened. This is why they are so dangerous, flattery and compliments to get power and influence, vitriol and poison when the truth becomes obvious. For them the game is deception and control, not truth and service.

I find it interesting you appear to be taken a statement count every vote, to mean counting illegal fraudulent votes are to be counted as well.

The whole security in the voting process is to stop this, and to suggest otherwise to me dumb, part of the right wing propoganda to invent illegal behaviour. A diligent worker who risks all to keep the election process safe is called a liar and a fraud because someone claims illegal activity is taking place when there is no evidence.
