A friend whose name is Angel is battling Leukemia. He's in treatment, Chemo.

He's also a member of the special forces. Just today he found out the military is intending, trying,to send him to Baghdad!

Please,if you feel led and I know I'm new asking this of everyone here but if you feel God tug at your heart please pray he remains stateside.

He's also battling side effects from Chemo and is not tip top.

Please God,keep our Angel here safe at home. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayers for your friend...

It doesn't make sense. I think he's trying to contact someone.

Wouldn't they know his condition? He's likely using his insurance through the military for treatments.
They probably have no idea he is so ill.

You'd be surprised how government entities can get stuff so mixed up.

So he has to keep talking to various people above him to straighten this out. Keep explaining about his serious health conditions.

I saw Angel today. He said they briefed him yesterday. But he's still fighting being deployed. Why would they brief him when he's still stateside? On a Saturday.

Did they see him in person? Besides him trying to talk to someone higher up, maybe his doctor can explain to them that he cannot currently be deployed.

I didn't get details. He was in talks with a company manager when there was a brief break and I slipped in to give a hug and ask a quick update.

I talked with him today. He's still fighting deployment. One of his contentions is, if he deploys this time it will be his 13th!

THIRTEEN?

Is that a lot? It sounds like a lot.

Still praying.

Update: They gave him all his innoculations to go to Baghdad but they still haven't determined if he's leaving yet.

I would think those would not be a good thing considering his immune system is compromised by the Chemo and his liver is now impacted by the Chemo.
