@Mayflower Your recent post about wisdom made me think that this is the sort of artwork which you would appreciate, at least to see.
That is beautiful! I'm surprised you haven't picked a tattoo art for your avatar, farouk

@Mayflower Well, there's an idea!That is beautiful! I'm surprised you haven't picked a tattoo art for your avatar, farouk
@Mayflower Well, there's an idea!
You were talking about wisdom in Proverbs, anyway, so I though the design concept might somehow appeal to your artistic sense. I thought both the design and the placement on the wearer -I think it's a woman, by the tuft of hair? - kind of fitted, anyhow.
Actually, I can’t remember if I told my daughter…I suspect I probably did.@Naomi25 I guess you've not seen it yet; but I suppose the question would also be, Does your daughter know yet that her aunt had it done? :)
@Naomi25 Seems anyway you're pretty relaxed about whether your daughter would follow suit (even if she's indeed the type to do her own thing, anyway...)Actually, I can’t remember if I told my daughter…I suspect I probably did.
@Mayflower Maybe that particular design would be a bit bigger on a man? IDK...Maybe so. Pretty design
PS: @Mayflower Sometimes what ppl look for in a tattoo is a sense of balance and symmetricality, and an spatial evenness between what might be a Biblical quote and suitable, supporting graphics. The central placement in that picture also has a lot to do with the alignment with the spine, I guess, also.That is beautiful!
@Naomi25 Anyway you as a family - as opposed to your parents in their generation - it looks like you are all collectively right now in the process of becoming ruggedly confident with the idea of women as well as men getting inked up.Sure…wouldn’t bother me.
@prism:....seeing I don’t have tattoos but will defend anyone who desires them.
PS: @Heart2Soul You may like this: Just yesterday I talked to a young guy with a tattoo quoting from Isaiah 41.10: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee". Good to see his confidence in the Word...I do like the idea of Christian based tattoos to dispel the reputation given to those with tattoos in the past by some in society.....
Didn't Paul say "I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some"?Today's young men and women who follow the Lord are - as always - in such a hostile world. They do indeed need encouraging; and many of them do indeed choose to get injected with Bible quotes that motivate them and with which they wish to challenge others.

He thanked me for encouraging him.

Well…half, half. Yes, my sister has a cross, I think. However, I don’t think others in my family/extended family would consider it. We’re a fairly conservative bunch.@Naomi25 Anyway you as a family - as opposed to your parents in their generation - it looks like you are all collectively right now in the process of becoming ruggedly confident with the idea of women as well as men getting inked up.
(I think also you said your sister's design is faith based - I haven't scrolled back to check what you said.)
@Mayflower FYI, you also might appreciate this...
S.M.R.T?It’s a cat with a glass eye, I believe…so it’s looking in two directions. So…he looks like a really…really smart cat. S.M.R.T!
@Mayflower For many Christians it has been a memorable moment when they have realized how simple a compellingly witness-friendly faith based inking up can be to obtain. A basic, simple tattoo need cost only $10 in Vegas; which a lot of Christians would reckon is a small price to pay if it gets one started on a witness-friendly inking journey (you would probably agree, from personal experience.)Amen. Reach the lost, brother. Do not get distracted. Thankful Jesus goes after the lost sheep...
