...it was more an inspiration , so I felt good about it.
Hmm. I must say I am a bit surprised. I wonder if the vote is just based on their own personal preference...as in "I'd never get a tattoo at any age"....or it was them saying "It's never okay to get a tattoo at any age".@Naomi25 PS: Did you check the poll results, above, lately?

I would have thought more people would have recognized, regardless of personal preference, the freedom we have in Christ in such matters.
I wonder what they think of those individuals who have tattoos and then become saved?
Thanks for your poll votes!I just checked them all.
Well, thanks for your charity...by whatever definition... :)... That would be charitable!

@soul man For her it must be partly a way of expressing her Native American heritage; so do you know if she has been considering any more ink?My Dauther had Psalms23 tattooed in Choctaw language
Dear @Grams, thank-you for your post! Re the poll, you vote isn't showing (at, least, on my screen); maybe a mod. could help?I have not read the post here yet !! But feel its not good......
My husband had 2 of them one on the arm for the service , and one for mom and dad.
If I cared about them back then,,,, I would have told him put me on also.
But I guess as I grew older I am now glad I just ignored that......
I voted before I posted and did not see any thing there. and now I voted
again and I am going to look and see if its still there ........ because
I went to look and no one is voting ???? or it just does not show UP ????
Just took a look my vote is there,,,, but no other's .... wonder why ????????
Thanks for your comment. Seems like a lot of Christians appreciate the opportunity to receive faith based ones these days; my wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 inked on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also.I don't like tattoes.
Just my opinion.
Don't mess up your body.
This is also how a lot of young Christians seem to think: they seem to want to use some of their skin in a God honoring text or faith message.hey, it's his body ...I have no problems with his tattoos.
You do seem to be rather obsessed by the idea of tattoos farouk. Can't remember if I asked if you have one. Do you, or your wife? This is also how a lot of young Christians seem to think: they seem to want to use some of their skin in a God honoring text or faith message.
My wife and I were talking to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 inked on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also (and I'm sure other conversations have arisen as a result of her willingness to be injected in this way).
If this makes some sense, whether one likes it or not?
Well, what do you make of the quote in the OP? :) I wouldn't use the word obsessed but over here they are very, very widespread and among many Christians it's a widely used means of expression. (If you look again at the OP quote, you might see what I mean.) A design I had on my arm did fade and wasn't successful. While there was some talk with my wife about the subject she didn't get one.You do seem to be rather obsessed by the idea of tattoos farouk. Can't remember if I asked if you have one. Do you, or your wife?
@brakelite Tattooed men and women might sometimes be portrayed as being somehow very modern and avant-garde, but actually they evidence a deep-rooted, traditional and historic manner of expression when they are prepared and willing to allow various artistic languages and patterns of inking to be pumped into their skin.Neat, meaningful tribal tattoos done in the proper setting in the traditional manner and with patterns that have centuries of tradition and genuine interpretative 'language' associated with them I fully understand. It is a matter of identity and roots. They tell a story. They are neat, orderly, and truly artistic, and they are real.
