Please pray for Trump

I would say pray for Trump's spiritual growth. We all were baby Christians at some time, not knowing much about the Bible.

I would prefer this topic remain prayers for the former President, rather than a judging of him. Thanks.

By his own words Trump appears to be only a nominal believer, not someone who is born of the Spirit. He said recently that he believes that "good" people go to heaven and "bad" people go the "other way" (hell). Whereas the true gospel speaks the truth according to Jesus, that no one is good but God, and that is why all are in need of the Savior Jesus Christ and of being restored and reconciled to Him by faith that is not of our own, through the new birth.

This is why DT labels (judges) people as being "good" or "bad" by his own criteria in the moment. And that is why so many are trying to judge/label him the same way. Those who know the Lord are not to see and judge and pigeon-hole people as being good or bad, since there is no one good, but only discern whether they are saved or still lost. He is just a man running for an earthly office, apparently still in need of saving, and it's dangerous and against the truth to try to elevate him or anyone by calling him "good".

Trump does not CLAIM to be a Biblical Cleric.
Trump has NEVER presented himself as a Candidate running for an Office of Cleric of the United States.

IF Trump’s words “good” / “bad”, “up” / “down” consequences is not acceptable to you. So what. It’s simple to the point, and not necessary for him to PRETEND he is a candidate for a CLERICAL position…

No human BEGINS his natural Life…GOOD…
The man who calls on the Lord and Accepts the Lord Gods OFFERING…becomes TRANSFORMED…FROM bad to good!
Not according to MENS judgement…
Rather according to Gods judgement.
Which Scripture calls…Righteous, whole, glorifying to God.

His Conversation with God?
That your Judgement of Trump is the Same as Gods?

I didn't say HE is claiming to be anything..........I'm warning US not to put him on a pedestal.........in other words be very careful to not idolize the man. For the sake of his soul as well as ours. People are getting carried away because of panic and emotions.

Jesus said why do you call me good...there is no one good but God. That the Lord is graciously imputing His righteousness to those who believe in His Son does not make us inherently good. In our flesh dwells no good thing.

God is the one who raises and lowers kings and kingdoms according to His wisdom and purposes. Whether to bless or to judge or because He is sovereignly ordering things to bring this age to a final conclusion. He is the only one we should lift up and praise and give thanks to. It's a snare to put one's trust in and give one's adoration to a man. God says in His word, cursed is the one who trusts in man. We need to be looking to the Lord, seeking His help......not fixing our eyes and hopes on a man.

Amen brother. But where is the faith to believe this and heed it? People are replacing our true "Commanding Officer" with a commander-in-chief. America's problem is a spiritual one, not political. (Same with all the western formerly Christian nations which have broken the yoke and bolted from God.) Hearts are being tested. We are only getting the political circumstances that we "deserve" , reaping what we have sown, God's righteous judgment....... and we mustn't think for one minute there is any way to get around that except through repentance.

Lord have mercy....people are deaf and blind to the ways of God now, and argue with it and even mock ......all they can see and put their faith in are earthly things.

sadly about the only so called repentance messages i have been seeing from many
is their repentance FROM the gospel and apologies to the world . Have you noticed that sister .
As they go around apologizing to gays and other religoins and etc
For what . We owe no man an apology for godly correction and godly doctrine , for the gospel .
But many sure seem to think this be the case . Their repentance has led them into all out rebellion against GOD
because if we examine their repentance message , it goes AGAINST the bibilical pattern

Let me just say I saw a red flag which prompted me to say what I did. Maybe it will help if you go back and re-read the posts.
