How many plane crashes have there been in the news recently? It's been like one a day.

Very strange, it's like the skies have become less forgiving.

We hardly get reports of small plane crashes with no injuries. Most small planes run out fuel because Pilots either forget to fill up or think they can make the trip on the fuel they have. The other is transport planes where pilot error and overloading the plane payload causes crashes. We actually had 4 crashes so far with Passenger Jets. But in 2023 there were over 1200 plane crashes. Would you believe many passenger jets in use today were built in the 1960's. I can tell you nowadays the Pilots are not as good as the Pilots that came out of WW2 who are retired now. The pilots now days are trained but never had the real-world experience of engines cutting out and ditching the plane on a beach or in water or evasive maneuvers through mountains. Remember Capt. Sulley? yep, he retired.

There have been times in our journey that we all have wandered away from The Lord. And for us The Lord in His steadfast love was always standing there, to welcome us back. I myself, remember how bad things got for me. It was like the hand of Blessing was lifted off me for a while. Now take a country( a kingdom) that turns away from The Lord, do we think it will go well with this country(kingdom). It will not, unless it repents.

Planes keep crashing, it can't be normal.
As said before the lack of experience in adverse conditions bring disaster. That Toronto plane crash looked more like pilot error than wind. Video's show it came in hard and slammed down, probably crushed the landing gear and caused it flip over. Planes have a throttle handle that vibrates to alert the pilot to pull up, before hitting the ground or close to crashing into a mountain, but some pilots ignore it and crash anyway. The Alaska plane crash, had icing conditions. When Ice builds up, it can lock the flaps, but planes have de-icing chemical sprayers onboard. But if the pilot is unaware of icing until its too late, de-icing might not work if its too thick of ice. Experienced pilots look out of the windows constantly in icing conditions, to de-ice if needed. I grew up around planes and my dad was an Airplane mechanic.
