It really is quite astonishing. I've been here for nearly 5 years now, and still cannot get over the variety and beauty of the bird life

Oh, and I haven't seen the half of it. The emus, the cassowaries, the many different owls and parrots and budgerigars and every different area of Australia having different endemic species from other areas and unique environment they know as home.
And as you may have noted, it's not just the birds... The reptiles and animals and insects and.....
Looks like West Coast or British Columbia someplace....

Another very old homestead located in a northern Idaho National Wilderness:
The ghost town of Dorothy, Alberta. I remember looking into the store's windows and seeing clothing still hanging on racks.
Right next to this area is the Red Deer River. In the pool just upstream of the bridge, I caught a 9-lb. walleye!
Sigh...I miss Alberta!
