With the Prairie weather, the more things change, the more they stay the same...
Until my late 60s, I wasn't very handy, either. Then I just started trying to do stuff. Eventually, one learns. And a hint:
No matter what it is you want to do, someone has done it and put it on You Tube. It's been a genuine education for me.
Great picture...Painting of Combe Castle ... reckoned to be Britain's prettiest village.

Great picture; it has atmosphere; reminds me a bit of Edward Hopper...The only benefit I'm drawing from lockdown is an increase in my stock of paintings that no one will want to buy until I'm a dead and gone artist.
The latest is of my home town shopping on a rainy winter's evening.

Another good one...Excuse the idolatry but I can't resist showing off one of my 'pride and joys'.
It's a copy of a painting that I found tucked away in an old laptop. It was our last home in the UK before we moved to Spain many moons ago.
It was the ruin of an old blacksmiths cottage that literally fell about our ears as we tried to restore it.
So we saved as much as we could and almost completely rebuilt it using old reclaimed materials.
Once finished we enjoyed magnificent views across the Wells saltmarshes (particularly at flood tides).
I now wish we still lived there.

I was going to say, It's probably Israel (even before seeing your caption...)I hope that all of you are able to travel to Israel and stay for a while.
Its a beautiful place.
It is however, surrounded by enemies, so, its also a place that is very cognizant of this reality.
So, if you do travel there, and you are not use to seeing the army everywhere, then that'll take a bit of getting use to...but, its normal there.
You'll see this, everywhere you go..
This pic is taken in the Old City - Jerusalem - not far from the Wailing wall.
