exactly. The kingdom of heaven is said to be either within us, or beside us, so "hell" would be the alternative rightIf hell must be a place seperated from God, then where does (Hell) exist if God is everywhere?
What do you mean by "hell would be the alternative"exactly. The kingdom of heaven is said to be either within us, or beside us, so "hell" would be the alternative right
So that's what bothers you? Do you believe that God is unfair and cannot reach someone on a remote island so they will have an excuse for failing to believe in Jesus?Ok, so some poor sap on a remote island who has never heard of Jesus will be tortured for eternity in Hell.
I could say this is exactly why Mormonism began. So that's what bothers you? Do you believe that God is unfair and cannot reach someone on a remote island so they will have an excuse for failing to believe in Jesus?

Romans 1:18 - For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
I've heard too many testimonies from missionaries who have visited remote parts of the world and explained how the people they shared the gospel with there not only came to believe the gospel, but also told them they were waiting for someone to come and share this good news to them. Such people have responded to the light they had and received more light, even the light of the glorious gospel of Christ. :)
So God has revealed Himself in the light of creation and also in our conscience. In Romans 2:14-15 the apostle Paul writes, "For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which show the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another."
God is not so small that He is limited to only reaching people in more populated regions of the earth.
It's too late after death. Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. So North Koreans that die without ever having heard the word of Jesus can still be saved AFTER death?

Is such a person with or without excuse according to scripture? Is it impossible for God to reach someone in North Korea with the gospel?Ok, so a person who has never heard of Jesus dies and then what happens?

well, if the kingdom of heaven is either beside us or within us right now, then it follows that we might be in Gehenna right now, too? "Hell" as we understand it i am not finding anyway--a place that others maybe goto after death? What do you mean by "hell would be the alternative"

People who reject Jesus although they know in their heart that his testimony is true, will not enter the kingdom of heaven. They will go into Hades/hell if they have not received him while they had the chance, here on earth. Thanks in advance.
Hades comes from Greek mythology, not Jewish.People who reject Jesus although they know in their heart that his testimony is true, will not enter the kingdom of heaven. They will go into Hades/hell if they have not received him while they had the chance, here on earth.
"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." Matt 5:6So North Koreans that die without ever having heard the word of Jesus can still be saved AFTER death?
