We don't accuse each other of following satan

Well, then it's best to not say stuff the devil is saying right?

God elects some Jews and not others for salvation

This is based upon whether they accept the Lord, cooperate with Him, and walk with Him.

It is not the Lord deciding for no reason whatsoever that salvation is not for everyone.
I posted numerous quotes from scripture that prove this is false doctrine.

If you need to see these again, just let me know and I'll post them again for your further education in believing what is right before the Lord instead of scripture twisting darkness you are hawkin currently.

I have shared some scriptural references that support my original argument.

And those have to be twisted to be in opposition to the scripture I posted that clearly state it's not God's will that ANY should perish

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

You're trying to tell me that... the Lord lied when He told the Holy Ghost to tell Peter to write this.
Sorry man... you on the outside looking in! sad4.png
Did you actually read Calvin?

I've spent my time reading what the Lord says in His Word... I don't get spiritual advice from murderers or those that claim what God says in His Word... are false.

Those people have been blinded by the devil and are twisting scripture... which is satan's MO as we see in the garden of eden. This is how he is still operating today by claiming what God says in not true.

But, I'm very aware of his false doctrines cause I hear them thru those that follow him... I follow Jesus myself, not sure why anybody wants to follow men, especially sinful men!

So God wills that none should perish, but he is so impotent that a human being thwarted his plan? What kind of a God do you worship that can be defeated by a man?

Ah, the accuser of the brethren... also accuses the Lord of being a liar! crazy.gif

Try to formulate reasons.

That's your whole problem... you are "reasoning" in your carnal mind rather than accepting what God says in His Word.

Nobody ever read God's Word and suddenly became a follower of calvin... but many have read books of those that were followers o0f calvin... and became calvinists

Over the years I've been through many discussions with the followers of calvin and they just don't fit in with the followers of Jesus Christ so you are wasting your time if you think I'm going to agree with any aspect of the false doctrines of the unrepentant murderer John Calvin. disagree.gif

It'll stick with the Truth of God's Word instead! agree.gif

Great summary.

The Bible teaches that everyone who is born again by the power of the Holy Spirit is saved forever. We receive the gift of eternal life (John 10:28), not temporary life. Someone who is born again (John 3:3) cannot be “unborn.” After being adopted into God’s family (Romans 8:15), we will not be kicked out. When God starts a work, He finishes it (Philippians 1:6). So, the child of God—the believer in Jesus Christ—is eternally secure in his salvation.

However, the Bible also contains some strong warnings against apostasy. These warnings have led some to doubt the doctrine of eternal security. After all, if we cannot lose our salvation, why are we warned against falling away from the Lord? This is a good question. First, we must understand what is meant by “apostasy.”

An apostate is someone who abandons his religious faith. It is clear from the Bible that apostates are people who made professionsof faith in Jesus Christ but never genuinely received Him as Savior. They were pretend believers. Those who turn away from Christ never really trusted Him to begin with, as 1 John 2:19 says, “They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.” Those who apostatize are simply demonstrating that they are not true believers, and they never were.

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares (Matthew 13:24–30) provides a simple illustration of apostasy. In the same field were growing wheat and “false wheat” (tares or weeds). At first, the difference between the two types of plants was undetectable, but as time went on, the weeds were seen for what they were. In the same way, in any given church today, there may be true, born-again believers side by side with pretenders—those who enjoy the messages, the music, and the fellowship but have never repented of their sins and accepted Christ by faith. To any human observer, the true believer and the pretender look identical. Only God can see the heart. Matthew 13:1–9 (the Parable of the Sower) is another illustration of apostasy in action

Well, then it's best to not say stuff the devil is saying right?
In general, it is not advisable to compare others to ourselves. However, when discussing doctrines, it is best to refrain from making judgments about who is right or wrong until all sides of the debate have been heard. Instead, it is recommended to provide constructive or informative information rather than attributing motives.
This is based upon whether they accept the Lord, cooperate with Him, and walk with Him.
Paul believed that our salvation is based on the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. While our belief is based on hearing the preacher, the Holy Spirit's indwelling is the basis of our perseverance in faith. According to Jesus, the Holy Spirit's indwelling determines whether his kinsmen and anyone else accept the Lord, cooperate with him, and walk with him.

Salvation is not quid-pro-quo. God removes all contingency when he pours out his Spirit into the hearts of those whom he is saving.
It is not the Lord deciding for no reason whatsoever that salvation is not for everyone.
Of course not. The Lord tells us that all of us are condemned already. The question is, "Who has God decided to save and how can we tell?"
I posted numerous quotes from scripture that prove this is false doctrine.
You posted scripture. Whether they support your position is another question.
scripture twisting darkness you are hawkin currently.
Demonstrate how the scriptures were twisted. I have already argued that you have misconstrued or misunderstood Peter's words.
You're trying to tell me that... the Lord lied when He told the Holy Ghost to tell Peter to write this.
No, you misunderstood. My claim is not the the Lord lied. I maintain that you have misunderstood what was said.
I've spent my time reading what the Lord says in His Word...
So the answer is no, you have not read Calvin. The best course for us is to leave Calvin out of the conversation and focus on our common text, which is the Holy Bible.
That's your whole problem... you are "reasoning" in your carnal mind rather than accepting what God says in His Word.
Your claim is not original and very common. What can we say about those with whom we disagree? I doubt that you can defend your conclusion that I am reasoning in a "carnal" mind.

Ad hominem is a type of fallacy that involves attacking the person who makes an argument, rather than the argument itself. It is a way of avoiding the issue by appealing to emotions or prejudices, rather than facts or logic. Ad hominem is wrong because it does not address the validity or soundness of the argument, but rather tries to discredit or undermine the person who makes it.

It'll stick with the Truth of God's Word instead!
I hope you do.

I know that truth Bro....the day God birthed me in the Spirit.....I must admit, I was a little hesitant at first, because I had so many people leave and let me down in my life, before I was Born Again.....as time went on , God reassured me, that he would never leave me through his living word.

Do you know...I don’t deserve God, I take him for granted , as he’s been with me for over 31 yrs.....it’s just normal to have that security in him...

The thing is though, he knows my heart...he knows I still have pride, and can be judgemental...he showed me that yesterday...

I can only look to him to help me with it.....the amount of fresh starts , he has graciously given...never turning his back on me once...when I come to him for help....there he is waiting....and off we go again....the Holy Spirit leading the way.

Praise God,Bro....only he is worthy of Praise to the highest degree!!!

I so treasure that living relationship with God through his Holy Spirit...

Understanding the Power of Faith Over Fear and Worry
Philippians 4:6–7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:6–7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care on him; for he cares for you.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Psalm 34:17–19 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.

Psalm 112:6–8 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire on his enemies.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Remembering the Lord Loves and Cares for You
Romans 8:31–32 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Proverbs 3:5–6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Romans 5:8 But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Psalm 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Romans 8:38–39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

it is not advisable to compare others to ourselves.

I wasn't. I was comparing what you said to what the Lord said...sorry, you came up short!

Paul believed that our salvation is based on the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.

Concerning the introduction to the Lord to get born again yes... but taught one must live for the Lord in order to be accepted by the Lord in the end and go to Heaven...

1 Corinthians 9:27
I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Castaway (G0096 in Strong's) = unapproved, rejected, worthless, reprobate.

This is the same greek word used in Romans 1:28 when the Lord turned those over to a reprobate mind who refused retain God in their knowledge and walk with Him.

This means, Paul believed that if he did not control himself and went back to walking after the flesh HE would be unapproved, rejected, worthless, reprobate!

Obviously the Apostle Paul did not believe in "once saved, always saved" aka "eternal security"

Of course not. The Lord tells us that all of us are condemned already. The question is, "Who has God decided to save and how can we tell?"

Those that get born again and abide IN Christ all the days of their life... get allowed in to Heaven.

This does not mean Jesus did not taste of death for every man and provide a way for ALL men to be saved cause... He did!

God's Word says man is without excuse (Romans 1:20), the grace that brings salvation has come upon all men (Titus 2:11-13)

God's Word says it's not God's will that any perish and He wants all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and He has commanded men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30), and has given every man faith (Romans 12:3)

Jesus said if He be lifted up He would draw all men until Himself (John 12:32), and Jesus has tasted of death for every man (Hebrews 2:9)

In light of all these scriptures, we can say for sure that limited atonement taught by John Calvin is false doctrine and is in opposition to what God says.

You posted scripture. Whether they support your position is another question.

Those that have been deceived by the false doctrine of the murderer John Calvin of course... have no clue because they suffer from acute Cherry Pickers Syndrome (CPS) which has caused their minds to be darkened from the Truth of God's whole counsel.

And we know you are full of BULLoney because earlier you were claiming the scriptures I posted supported your thoughts you got from your boy John Calvin laughing.gif
The best course for us is to leave Calvin out of the conversation and focus on our common text, which is the Holy Bible.

That's what I'm doing... but you have been deceived by John Calvin's false interpretations so unless you repent and get right with the Lord... there's not much hope you you... homie.

Ad hominem is a type of fallacy that involves attacking the person who makes an argument, rather than the argument itself.

Oh, I took care of your erroneous argument... you just can't understand what's going on having been deceived by John Calvin's false interpretations

I hope you do.

I can post scriptures proving limited atonement is satanic thought since you apparently missed them before... just let me know and I can re-post them yet again... homie! coffee_cup_guy2.gif

Concerning the introduction to the Lord to get born again
The Lord doesn't say, "Get born again" as if this is something we do. Born again is something that God does to us -- the victims of his mercy.
yes... but taught one must live for the Lord in order to be accepted by the Lord in the end and go to Heaven...
That's what mothers tell their children to motivate them to behave. But do you honestly believe that is Biblical? I don't. Jesus and the apostles teach us that salvation is not based on merit.
Obviously the Apostle Paul did not believe in "once saved, always saved" aka "eternal security"
Paul didn't even know about OSAS, let alone comment on it. The phrase "once saved" is a modern concept proposed by folks in the previous century who misapplied Romans 10:9-10, believing that salvation is granted at the moment of confession.

But Paul wrote about eternal security as I have shown you elsewhere.

Let's be careful to remember that salvation is the granting of eternal life, which takes place at the coming of our Lord Jesus.

Consider the following passage.

1 Corinthians 15:50-57
Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Apostle believes that salvation is something we inherit, not something we have here and now. The "once saved" takes place when we will all be changed at the last trumpet. Eternal life is victory over death; and thanks be to God who gives us the victory. We don't give ourselves the victory.

Those that get born again and abide IN Christ all the days of their life... get allowed in to Heaven.
Salvation is not quid-pro-quo (this for that). Salvation is not a merit-based system. God is not rewarding salvation because we abide in Christ. On the contrary, we abide in Christ because we are being saved.

This does not mean Jesus did not taste of death for every man and provide a way for ALL men to be saved cause... He did!
It seems that you hold the belief of "Prevenient Grace", which suggests that God has already done everything to save us, and now it's our turn to choose to accept his offer. However, this doctrine is not accurate and can lead to a false understanding of God, who is the creator of everything and is not powerless in the face of human will. While you may argue that God wants everyone to be saved, it is incorrect to say that he is incapable of saving those who do not wish to be saved. This view contradicts what the Bible teaches us about God.

Contrary to the doctrine of "Prevenient Grace," the Apostle Paul tells you that it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on the mercy of God. He is so powerful, he can save even those who don't wish to be saved.

In light of all these scriptures, we can say for sure that limited atonement taught by John Calvin is false doctrine and is in opposition to what God says.
Were we talking about limited atonement? I don't think so. Were we discussing the writings of Calvin? I don't think so.
That's what I'm doing... but you have been deceived by John Calvin's false interpretations so unless you repent and get right with the Lord... there's not much hope you you... homie.
You haven't read John Calvin so your objections are empty.

Again, try to give reasons for what you believe. Try to understand what the Bible teaches and meditate on that.

The Lord doesn't say, "Get born again" as if this is something we do. Born again is something that God does to us -- the victims of his mercy.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Romans 10:9
if YOU shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

No, we are the ones that have to accept Him... then He can accept us.

Our Apostle believes that salvation is something we inherit, not something we have here and now. The "once saved" takes place when we will all be changed at the last trumpet. Eternal life is victory over death; and thanks be to God who gives us the victory. We don't give ourselves the victory.

Yes, and contrary to the teachings of the OSAS peoples... those that walk after the flesh (in sin) will not be inheriting the Kingdom of God.

When we get born again... we actually ARE translated from darkness into the Kingdom of God's Dear Son at that moment

Colossians 1:13
Who HAS delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Ephesians 2:6
And HAS raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Notice these are past tense... when we get born again we are in God's Kingdom now while stuill on Club Earth because we are abiding in Christ.

The problem is some... quit abiding IN Christ and go back to living in sin and lose their salvation.

If they do not REPENT by confessing and forsaking their sin then they will go to hell.

Salvation is not quid-pro-quo (this for that). Salvation is not a merit-based system. God is not rewarding salvation because we abide in Christ. On the contrary, we abide in Christ because we are being saved.

That's not what Jesus taught ion John 15

He said if a man does not abide in Him... they are cut off!
Gal 6:7,8 says if we sow to the flesh (sin) we shall reap corruption (UN-righteousness)

It seems that you hold the belief of "Prevenient Grace", which suggests that God has already done everything to save us, and now it's our turn to choose to accept his offer.

2 Peter 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us ALL things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

You should learn the entire Word of God... not just bits and pieces.

You also have not learned that when God created man, He created man in HIS OWN LIKENESS meaning man has free will and is responsible to reap what he sows

To say man does not reap what he sows is mocking God according to Gal 6:7,8

Were we talking about limited atonement? I don't think so. Were we discussing the writings of Calvin? I don't think so.

Limited atonement was taught by calvin and he got it from another false teacher, augustine who was a pagan monk who claimed to have converted to Christianity when the Roman empire tried to make Christianity it's state religion which was a trick of the devil to being in false doctrine to water down Christianity.

You haven't read John Calvin so your objections are empty.

For years I have had the followers of John Calvin telling me what he taught... I'm a follower of Jesus and the teachings Jesus provided in His Word... so no, I reject the false doctrines of John Calvin because he does not teach what Jesus taught in His Word which includes the teaching ministry of Jesus thru His Apostles that wrote the New Testament. See ya!

Scripture please?...this Above doesn’t imo, make sense?

Show me in scripture where God says , you can birth yourself in the Spirit...that you chose to birth yourself in the Spirit did you?

KJ21
who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
ASV
who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
AMP
who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth—they are born of God—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].
AMPC
Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again

' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

The Spirit Himself testifies and confirms together with our spirit [assuring us] that we [believers] are children of God.

Brought from Death to LifeThe Lord told Nicodemus unequivocally, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (John 3:6).

Overall, a person must be radically born again by the wind of the Holy Spirit and raised up from the dead in their inner person, like the dry bones in Ezekiel's vision. Without this radical transformation lived out until death, no one can enter the eternal Kingdom of God

if YOU shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

No, we are the ones that have to accept Him... then He can accept us.

That's not what Jesus taught ion John 15

He said if a man does not abide in Him... they are cut off!
Gal 6:7,8 says if we sow to the flesh (sin) we shall reap corruption (UN-righteousness)

Limited atonement was taught by calvin and he got it from another false teacher, augustine who was a pagan monk who claimed to have converted to Christianity when the Roman empire tried to make Christianity it's state religion which was a trick of the devil to being in false doctrine to water down Christianity.

See ya!
Soooooo many are indoctrinated by church affiliation either of past or present attendance, having taken the word of men whom taught them !

Many denominations including Baptist have the erroneous teachings ingrained in them. The false saved forever; no matter what my flesh does, the pre-trib rapture by deception of God's grace vs his wrath, the abiding in the vine is not about our walk beyond salvation and does not apply, so it can never be lost ect ect.

Being deceived is plausible ONLY if one continues to believe lies, being deluded!
The failure is on the one NOT STUDYING THE WORD, not God nor his Spirit!

If Jesus were here in the flesh today many modern day ppl that claim faith, WOULD CALL FOR....HIS.....DEATH!

GALATIANS 4:7

Now we’re no longer living like slaves under the law, but we enjoy being God’s very own sons and daughters! And because we’re his, we can access everything our Father has—for we are heirs of God through Jesus, the Messiah! Galatians 4:7
The Carnal Mind is Hostile to God—Romans 8:7. The natural mind cannot receive the things of God. Paul says that the sinful mind or carnal mind is hostile to God. It hates the very things of God and cannot please God because it is impossible to walk according to his ways while following the desires of the flesh.

Some ppl are so out of order, they aren't standing on any promises per his word .

It is all self willed by their thinking of "what I believe", regardless of what the word says.

Random plucking out of the word of God to justify their own fleshly carnality shows how little knowledge and understanding one has.

Frankly I would be ashamed to even put forth MY OWN UNDERSTANDING, if I walked as such !

In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (ESV), he asks, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

What does the Bible say about false accusations?

Being falsely accused for something is always frustrating, but remember Jesus, Job, and Moses were all accused wrongly. Sometimes it happens from someone wrongly presuming something and other times it’s out of jealousy and hatred. Stay calm, do not repay evil, defend your case by speaking the truth, and continue to walk with integrity and honorably.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
In the context, Jesus explains to Nicodemus that one must be born "of the Spirit", which is something God does.
Romans 10:9
if YOU shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

No, we are the ones that have to accept Him... then He can accept us.
Paul is being descriptive, not prescriptive in this passage. He is explaining why Israel, as a whole, has not confessed with the mouth and believed in the heart. In any given population, some do and some don't. But even among those who do, not all of them will persevere in the faith. The quality of character leading to endurance is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Those who have the Spirit will endure to the end.

Yes, and contrary to the teachings of the OSAS peoples... those that walk after the flesh (in sin) will not be inheriting the Kingdom of God.
Of course, we are not discussing those who walk after the flesh. We are specifically discussing the doctrine of Eternal Security, which is a completely different subject.
When we get born again... we actually ARE translated from darkness into the Kingdom of God's Dear Son at that moment
An individual is "born again" at the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Spiritual birth is an earnest of our salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14) not the salvation itself.
Notice these are past tense... when we get born again we are in God's Kingdom now while stuill on Club Earth because we are abiding in Christ.
That is not true. We are not in God's kingdom because we abide in Christ. We are in God's kingdom because God the Father has sealed us with his Spirit. We abide in Christ because we are sealed in his Spirit.
The problem is some... quit abiding IN Christ and go back to living in sin and lose their salvation.
We can't lose what we don't have. Remember, salvation occurs at the Last Trump when we will all be changed.

Jesus shares a story about a sower who went out to sow seeds. The seeds fell on four types of ground, out of which only one resulted in perseverance in faith, while the other three only led to plant growth (i.e. belief). The key takeaway from this story is that the ground which resulted in crop formation was the one that was tilled and free from weeds and rocks. This illustrates that a heart which is properly prepared to hear the truth leads to a faith that endures. In other words, a heart that is prepared by God will never fall away from the faith.
That's not what Jesus taught ion John 15

He said if a man does not abide in Him... they are cut off!
Conditional statements don't always indicate contingency. While it is true that some believers fall away, not all do. The doctrine of Eternal Security tells us why someone continues to abide in Christ, even in view of persecution and suffering. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit makes the difference as Paul wrote here.

Romans 8:9-11
However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Does the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwell in me? That's the critical question.
2 Peter 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us ALL things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

You should learn the entire Word of God... not just bits and pieces.
The passage you quoted supports my position.
You also have not learned that when God created man, He created man in HIS OWN LIKENESS meaning man has free will and is responsible to reap what he sows

To say man does not reap what he sows is mocking God according to Gal 6:7,8
The proverb concerning consequences is true, except for God's forgiveness, restoration, and salvation. True, there are earthy consequences for sin, but there are also eternal consequences for sin as Paul has said. "The wages of sin is death . . ." But for those whom God is saving, sin is forgiven and life is restored.
Limited atonement was taught by calvin
We shall not speak of Calvin.

5. God keeps us in His hand

John 10:28-29 says:

“And I give to them eternal life, and they shall by no means perish forever, and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. My Father…is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.”
All kinds of things may try to snatch us from the Father’s hand—sin, the world, difficulties, even Satan himself. But in these verses, the Lord Jesus assures us by saying that it’s impossible for us to be snatched away. No one and nothing is stronger than God.

Romans 8
Berean Standard Bible Par ▾
Walking by the Spirit
(Ezekiel 36:16–38; Galatians 5:16–26)
1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.a2For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set youb free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin.c He thus condemned sin in the flesh, 4so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace,7because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8Those controlled by the fleshd cannot please God.
9You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alivee because of righteousness. 11And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the deadf will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.
Heirs with Christ
12Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
15For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.
Future Glory
(2 Corinthians 5:1–10)
18I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God. 20For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope 21that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time. 23Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently.
26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. 27And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
God Works in All Things
(Ephesians 1:3–14)
28And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. 29For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.
31What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.
More than Conquerors
(Psalm 44:1–26)
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
“For Your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”g
37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
