Here is a few things, though I think I mentioned already I’ll highlight again.
Deuteronomy 32:8-9
8 When the Most High apportioned the nations,
when he divided humankind,
he fixed the boundaries of the peoples
according to the number of the gods;
9 the Lord’s own portion was his people,
Jacob his allotted share.
So most who read this reads most high as the same as the lords. It’s purposely translated that way, to help push the particular systematic theology.
But what it says is
When El set up the nations El did so according to the number of his sons and Yahweh’s portion was Jacob’s people. In Hebrew, Yahweh here is being called a son of God. Yahweh here is an angel.
We see portions of this happening elsewhere when we see it says “ god said or did this “ and later on it’s the “ angel of the lord said or did this”.
Lastly we see this.
2 Kings 3:15-20
15 But get me a musician.” And then, while the musician was playing, the hand of the Lord came on him. 16 And he said, “Thus says the Lord: I will make this wadi full of pools. 17 For thus says the Lord: You shall see neither wind nor rain, but the wadi shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, you, your army,
and your animals. 18 This is only a trifle in the sight of the Lord, for he will also hand Moab over to you. 19 You shall conquer every fortified city and every choice city; every good tree you shall fell, all springs of water you shall stop up, and every good piece of land you shall ruin with stones.” 20 The next day, about the time of the morning offering, suddenly water began to flow from the direction of Edom until the country was filled with water.
Here it’s stated that God was with them and that he would hand Moab over to them. But then we see this a few verses later.
2 kings 3:25-27
25 The cities they overturned, and on every good piece of land everyone threw a stone until it was covered; every spring of water they stopped up, and every good tree they felled. Only at Kir-hareseth did the stone walls remain until the slingers surrounded and attacked it. 26 When the king of Moab saw that the battle was going against him, he took with him seven hundred swordsmen to break through opposite the king of Edom, but they could not. 27 Then he took his firstborn son who was to succeed him and offered him as a burnt offering on the wall. And great wrath came upon Israel, so they withdrew from him and returned to their own land.
The King of Moab sacrificed his son who was to succeed him and because of that, a divine wrath….. from another god “ Chemosh “ instead drove them away.
We see things also where it seems God did not know what was happening until he came closer.
Genesis 11
4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves; otherwise we shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.”5 The Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which mortals had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Look, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do; nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language there, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lordscattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.
It says God came down ( as if heaven is actually in the clouds ) to get a better look.
Seems the modern concept of God does not align with the ancient Jewish one.
Also, none of this undermines accomondationsim.
