I hate to say this, but you may be stuck there, buddy. I'm guessing when the new owner bought the site and immediately installed ads it's because he figured ad revenue into the purchase beforehand.

I use Google Chrome and it's not like that on their home page. It's not on all websites, but I do notice it's now on Biblegateway.com. too.

Good taste is great...but any ads have a way of popping up and ruining a good thing. It makes the site a B Movie

I would happily trade less taste for less ad clutter.

I suppose they had to resort to ads to pay for the website.

I too was surprised to see so many ads popping up every few posts....being annoying never got anyone to buy anything....it just ruins a good site. The ads are targeted by Google...aren’t we invaded enough everywhere else?

Please admins, give us a way to get rid of the things that detract from the spiritual subjects being discussed here. It’s the reason why I have enjoyed this site so much...I honestly admired the owner for not caving into commercialism. A Bible discussion site should not have to rely on the greedy commercial system to dictate to it. So sad that this has happened....

I visit Bible gateway and other sites and no Ad's.

I just clicked on a scripture and an ad came up immediately....we can’t even access God’s Word here without this interference now? This is bordering on harassment!

Does persistent pestering really make people buy things? It would make me want to avoid them. IDK
