I use Google Chrome and it's not like that on their home page. It's not on all websites, but I do notice it's now on Biblegateway.com. too.

Hi folks, just letting you all know that we have a new owner/admin of CyB.

You may have noticed advertisements appearing around the forum which may be new to some of us, particularly myself. However, our new owner/admin has specifically chosen a Christian ad agency that will filter out the type of things/ads that would be considered inappropriate as believers in Christ...

I can understand that...but I do wish there was another way, it's rather annoying.

I mean it's a real deterrent.​

Perhaps they could make an option to pay membership or something and eliminate the ads for those who support the sight??

I find it quite disturbing as I have been known to have fits through flashing images.

Good taste is great...but any ads have a way of popping up and ruining a good thing. It makes the site a B Movie

I would happily trade less taste for less ad clutter.

I meant to see the ads, not to be ad-free.

I hate to say this, but you may be stuck there, buddy. I'm guessing when the new owner bought the site and immediately installed ads it's because he figured ad revenue into the purchase beforehand.

You should also be seeing ad trailers at the bottom of your screen, unless you are in the act of posting. That's what I'm seeing anyway.
