Nothing proves there is a God, only that certain things that are among things here are *for* God (peace?)

Hi there,

So basically the best you can prove, is that the overwhelming set of things that know God, are for God. God's proof is a converted life. We don't need to do more than that (believe in God). The Devil will object, that we don't know God like we should or that we are not enough "for" God the way we would be (if we trusted him) - but the same focus on God and how much we like Him, can turn to resistance of the Devil. This is the power of the Gospel: that what previously ensnared us (in sin), now ensnares the Devil (and destroys his work). Faith in God, of which we are in awe, can always grow: from resisting the Devil, to all the works which Jesus did, when He was here on Earth for God.

I pray by faith that you understand this, that it gets deep into your soul - that you know that you are for God, in a deep and meaningful way.

The point is, you may never be able to substitute God, but you will always be able to know Him better (be more for Him).

Evidence, facts have to be interpreted or understood and our biases lead us to or away from the truth.

A basic tactic is to always ask.
What do you believe ?
And What evidence do you have for that belief?

Christianity is based in historical facts. If Jesus didn’t rise from the dead there is No Christianity.
That the historical evidence points to that he did rise from the dead is then a serious challenge to those who say there is no God.
