As @Bob mentioned above...start reading the Bible. The Gospel of John is a good start...it has many words of Jesus and His deeds.

Christianity is all about believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as our own Savior. To me, it's always been a life of peace, a good life. May you find that, too.

This is a journey of discovery pumpkin, and an exiting one at that. Stick around. You can ask God for guidance and he will start from where you're at. Questions and questioning is required if valuable growth is desired....so don't be backward regarding this.

There are plenty of bum steers but in spite of them an honest heart will learn to recognise the talkers from the walkers.

' My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand...'

Welcome sister. Body of Christ repents there sins to God. And study sound doctrine. James chapter 5. Christian people study Bible to plant seeds for God. Lot of people are lost, and on the wrong path. I can point you to 1 Corinthians chapter 12.
There are different kinds of gifts. If the individual has the holy Spirit. It can be voluntary work at soup kitchen. Or Christian good at making money and donates to the poor. Or Christian can be Minister, and teaches God's word, or plants seeds.
Meaning, body of Christ has different functions. Find out what your gifts and abilities are. Few might be the eye, which is ministers. Or the foot or hand. Body of Christ has one purpose, to serve Jesus. Pray for knowledge and wisdom to Jesus. I hope this helps you. Peace.

I started at 26. The quickest way to learn and find out about Jesus, is to read the 4 Gospels in the New testament, and then on ward. I been using a guide to read the new testament again within three months. The dates are off but it is still useful.
