Who told you that? no pets in heaven?
I've heard lots (lots) of testimonies where people say their dear departed pet was in Heaven waiting on them!
Where do you think the idea for pets came from. The Lord created many of the snimals as pets for us to nurture and love and be comforted by. The Lord knows how to give good gifts! Dog's are man's best friend (sans Jesus!) and for real. His symbol is the Lion of Judah, a cat. So God scaled some cats down for those who live in apartments and old ladies with houses, lol!
One guy said in his testimony that every pet dog that he ever had in life was in heaven waiting and it made him very happy to be reunited with his lovable pets. They all must be lying? So I am to think that the Lord gave us pets, but that He wont let us keep them? Uhhh, okay, lol.
Whoever said no kittens and puppies in heaven were full of crap. JMO.

I heard one lady's testimony of Jesus came to her and spoke with her and they talked and He taught her some things, and at some point she said something stupid to Jesus (her words!) and she said Jesus replied and said, ...your cat contemplates God better than you do....(Lol!)
She's brave for admitting that! I dunno if Jesus was joking with her or being serious? Surely it was light hearted.
Your Cat contemplates God better than you....Scripture does say that all of creation praises God so it's merely a language barrier I guess, lol. I have a dog. I'm teaching him to talk to me better. Trying to, he's a little dumb lol but we're making progress.

I wish I spoke Dog better, lol. But if you watch your pets you can see them reasoning at times, in their own way. Cats do it. My dog does it. He thinks of some mischief to do and he wil look at me, telegraph his thoughts and look guilty already. Like he's looking to see if he will get in trouble for doing whatever. I tell dont you dare and he either backs off about it or argues with me and barks if it's something that he really wants to do, lol.
You cant let your dog get away with arguing with you and assertions of dominance. Or it will get worse. I put that dog into submission real quick if he needs it, lol. Lucky for him I haven't had had to put him into submission yet because he doesnt push the boundaries too much. He's a good dog. (He scared the pee out of the mailman one day! Lol)

MAYBE….?? The necessity for mortal body to eliminate waste will not be a factor regarding an immortal body..
Seems funny how we associate the elimination of waste as a bad thing.

I don’t think it a “bad” thing…rather…an inconvenience…like showering, shaving, umpteen clothes, shoes, laundry, shopping, cooking….blah, blah, blah.”lol”
Sounds good…Would suspect…No one will be “cooking” or “running back and forth from a wine cellar” or “washing dishes”…
God speaks…it appears.
The only “FOOD”…in the “new city”….as I recall is of fruit trees.FOR eating?? IDK

Some do actually claim that cannabis is the Tree of Life. (I don't buy it)
It does have some health benefits though. (and risks for addiction)

I think you can make a case for pets in the new earth (if not in "heaven") from the Bible.

Only those that know God can enter heaven....
but maybe in the New World (Jerusalem) we might be reunited to our pets.
There is no theological reason to presume that animals are not restored in whatever manner we are from the Bible. Not even in the self loathing ecclesiastical poems.
First thing is that we should know animals are called souls with spirits just like humans are in Genesis. In English we typically see something translated like “7 then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” In genesis 2:7.
It says the breath of life made the man become a living being” which in some translations says soul like in KJV.
Then in the story of Noah in Genesis 9:10 we see it say “ every living creature “ and the word living there is nepesh and it’s the same nepesh in genesis 2:7. The word living creature or living being means soul.
So both humans and animals have souls.
Then it comes up what about spirit and well the spirit of god is the breath of god and those verses say we also all received the breath/spirit/wind of God.
Strong's Hebrew: 5397. נְשָׁמָה (neshamah) -- Breath, spirit, soul neshamah
Strong's Hebrew: 7307. ר֫וּחַ (ruach) -- Spirit, wind, breath ruach
Lastly we have to consider that in the new heaven and earth it mentions eating and drinking. That means plants which require pollinators to disperse them. The new heaven and earth is a restored heaven and earth. Not just a heaven but an earth and its being restored back to an Eden like world which had animals. It mentions in the imagery lions laying with lambs and so on.
Plus we must remember this in Romans 8:19-23
19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God, 20 for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its enslavement to decay and will obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning together as it suffers together the pains of labor, 23 and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly while we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.
All of creation awaits to be set free. Not just mankind.

Many people are not aware of the concepts ancient Jewish people had about breath and soul. In the stories of Genesis 2 it takes a tale of earth being formed into a golem wand that golem becomes a living. The golem was this corpse essentially. A lifeless body. But god breathed breathed his breath of life into the golem making it a living being, a soul. The opposite of a soul is a corpse. As mentioned previously the same word for breath is the same word for spirit and wind. Ancient Jewish envisioned a world that was lifeless. This floating flat land underneath a dome. The breath of god blows across the world like wind. The wind that we feel blowing on us, the wind the makes the leaves dance is the breath of God. They believed this breath was the spirit of god. That’s why when a baby is born it takes a breath. If it never takes a breath it was born a corpse. But if it breathes it becomes a living soul. They believed that’s why the first thing we do is take a breath. We breath in the wind of god, his spirit. We keep breathing while we are alive and when die, the last thing we do is breath out. They believed the last breath was out spirit leaving returning to the breath of God.

Smoking Dope back before the 1990's was not adictive like fags truly are in fact ! as i have seen such people who smoked dope everyday for years and just gave it up easy as in fact but they sure as hell had a hard time with the fag being so addictive !
Grog can be adictive as well ! seen people get the shakes real bad, one dude who worked for us drank a carton of beer every day after work or he would not be able to come to work !
I knew one dude who smoke dope so he could work, said it was to deal with pain in his knees and back !
