When we believe the gospel, that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again we have eternal life. We can not lose it because it is not based on what we do, but what Christ has done in providing a complete salvation by his blood sacrifice, his propitiation and redemption.

Romans 3:10 none righteous
Romans 3:22 righteousness of God
Romans 3:24 3:25 3:26 justified freely

Where does Jesus say that the gospel is that he died for us, was buried, and rose again?

Well, you might note that "the kingdom is within you" while you are still flesh and blood, right, so imo I would see that ambiguous statements are being made so as to allow the Bible to remain a mirror, so that the blind can stay blind and justify Death More Abundantly to themselves--which maybe sounds nefarious or evil, but really is by way of letting them have it their way, see, we all find what we seek?

And despite the multitude of True Believers' professions to the contrary, imo God does not put thoughts in our heads, or direct our desires or "what we seek" in any manner whatsoever; porn was still a draw after I got "saved," money was, drugs were, etc.

as to whether or not our spirits will be able to think; go into a room and manifest a spirit--a room full of kids is a reliable guide to which spirit you are manifesting I guess huh--and then ask the spirit what it thinks! :)

BTW-I have never "manifested" a spirit...how and why would one do that? I don't see calling upon the name of Jesus as "manifesting" His Spirit as His Spirit already lives within me. Can you splain Lucy? :)

Only after a good 25 years of wondering just were in tarnation WAS that "Peace that surpasses all understanding", have I come to see it clearly, and experience it in my life.
I no longer worry about anything out of my control or anything where I "see" no way out of. His ways and timing are so very perfect, and His peace is a large part of my joy, if not all!

but I note that you are not advertising this, so to speak, which is the point I meant to make. Iow you are not "testifying of yourself," you are not "crying peace." I would even testify in your case that imo you have found peace, but that is a diff thing. A broad point being that you are not using the banner of peace to draw acolytes (or sycophants, as to a "Lord") to your tax-deductible profit scheme, or etc

..Correct...IF they have accepted Jesus as Their Christ Messish Savior.

..IF not...their Options Are...
To STAY under the Law and keep doing works according TO Jewish Law...and be accounted worthy to be Saved...as was their OT faithful forefathers.

OR, like anyone else they can Reject God and Christ altogether.

A man who accepts Christs conversion...is not under the law of works To receive Salvation.

They receive Salvation for their confessed faith and Gods Grace.

And Works? They are rewarded for all works the do to Glorify Gods Great Name.

Don't do Works to Glorify Gods Great Name?

Lose out ... forfeit receiving rewards you could have had.

me neither, although that is a way of manifesting um a spirit, almost certainly; that spirit that you have defined as "Jesus." Nothing wrong with that, but I did not mean to go into a room and literally call out "Jesus" with some kids present, even though imo that would manifest a certain spirit, yes. But I would like to note here that your calling out "Jesus" and...someone else calling out "Jesus" could easily manifest a different spirit, too. Could be a spirit of peace, or say even vengeance (from a recent post in this forum), could be joy, could be what I might deem "religious fervor," etc

as His Spirit already lives within me.

Yes many moons ago ( after many anxious 'moons' /decades)
I finally "got it".

When peace seems absent, and God presence has 'vanished'..and we feel alone... Someone said - "So who moved?"
I knew then, that He who has promised to never leave us or forsake us ... He had not moved, I had!!! Doubts cloud His face, anxiety blocks the knowledge of His felt Presence.
He who IS PEACE never leaves us or forsakes us...as it says in -
Eph 2
14 For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby. "

Jesus said ' My peace I give to you, My peace I leave with you.."
His Holy Spirit within us. Yay God!!! :)

And, from there...we walk by faith, not be 'feels-like' !!

Okay...we know this is what people are taught that they are 'saved for' - to go to Heaven when they die. And it does speak of - our
"..hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil..20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus..." Heb 6

And Heb 11 Where we are told of Abraham - "For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God."
We know this chapter starts with .."Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for..." Not a 'hope so' faith, but a hope of assurance, the blessed hope of the good things yet to come.. = the fullness of His Presence. Right now we only have 'a foretaste'.

It is true what the saying says.. "Some folks are so heavenly minded that they are no earthly good! "
The kingdom does start now...but also "Thy Kingdom COME.."

What we need is..the happy balance..not either or, but both. :)

peace...not as the world giveth.
Also consider “life more abundantly” ...not as the world giveth. The perspective changes even to ‘peace in the midst of a storm.’ In Christ.

49 years of ...as the world giveth. A whole lot of mess. I watch my grandchildren and what the world is already writing on their blank slates ...
