Hi Matthew, I totally agree about a membership pass for those who can't stand the ads. I would live with them but since I have not signed out since they started, I have none...or my ad blocker plus rocks!

I use safari, I see the ads all the time but just close them out. I don't feel like getting a different browser, the google chrome runs a lot of resources on a Mac.

Lol, I just mean that on some of the big business media outlet sites I get redirected to from news aggregators, like WSJ and NYP, etc., throw ads at you like straw market merchants hound you in the Caribbean tourist trap towns.

Chrome is pretty invasive. I have it on my Linux laptop, but I only use it to break into my wife's business.

Started up Brave web browser, turned off the ad blocker, and I can see them now.

Now, the Amish click-bait actually turned out to be rather informative, though I was not shocked by #4 as promised by the teaser. False advertising?

You may have noticed advertisements appearing around the forum which may be new to some of us, particularly myself. However, our new owner/admin has specifically chosen a Christian ad agency that will filter out the type of things/ads that would be considered inappropriate as believers in Christ...

I was told they would filter out ads considered inappropriate for a Christian site. So not necessarily Christian, but ads that are not inappropriate.
I’ll be monitoring closely during this change.

Curious about an on going dilemma.

** write a post, post, oops need to edit, open edit option AND THEN, the option to complete the edit is a bar tab located at the bottom of the page, which is COVERED UP with an ADD. That ADD can not be deleted to reveal the edit bar tab.

** is that an issue you already know about? Have a remedy?
