I’m not impressed with her complaints lodged against FEMA.
The concern for the babies needs should have been that households preparedness, by heeding the warnings of weather dangers.
And Yes, the people of communities should be helping one an other…
She mentioned the issue of having to wait for gas, and seemingly was able to drive about…but no mention of her helping with supplies or needs to share as she was driving around.
Even God teaches to heed signs and warnings and be prepared.

She said that some people that tried to help were told not to help! One man even had a helicopter to rescue people and he was told to stop. But he went back to pick up his adult son anyhow, who he had left behind in order to help others.
She got gas because she needed to drive to check on her family in Asheville, NC.
The video mentioned some military being sent to Kuwait when people need help in NC.
Congressman Cory Mills is on the ground in NC delivering supplies and trying to check on or rescue people. He wonders where FEMA is, too.

Sure, neighbor assist neighbor…
Friends and relatives traveling “about after a disaster” is more of a hinderance to the emergency response teams than a help, even some becoming yet another victim…

I am proud of the North Carolina Southern Baptist Men's association. After the disaster at Southport, crews were sent to clear, demolish ruined interiors and help rebuild. there were protable kitchens, medical tents and crews working.
After Helene even more crews were dispatched to the hard hit areas. Trailers of food, water, blankets, clothes and medical supplies. Men clearing the debris and doing what is on hand to set up temporary shelters. The love of Jesus in action. Because of my physical handicaps I am sadly unable to go, but I gave funds to help buy and defray costs.

This is starting to sound like Hurricane Katrina. But because a Dem is in office, it's not getting near as much attention. If it were Trump in office, you can bet the media would be all over it so they could blame him for not handling it.

Played pickleball with a coworkers uncle yesterday. Asked him how long he’d be in town as I know he lives in NC.

There were helicopters from mercury one on the ground the next day dropping supplies.
The Glenn Beck show today said there are metals underground , lithium, in this part of North Carolina that government wants. But the people there are dug in as family legacy property owners and won't sell.
What better way to change their mind than with a natural disaster? And then government rescue agencies abandon them. And threaten to arrest civilians who try to intercede.
And all this government control of people was displayed during COVID-19 lockdown. Remember arrests of people not wearing masks outside at public events?
Churches threatened to stop services? Pastors arrested.

The Biden Harris administration is telling regular people not to help...some had helicopters and could help.

I think they don't want the people to interfere with the professional rescuers. But that doesn't make sense when people in need aren't seeing any help.
