Huh? Your not going to condescend again? When did you the first time?I'm not going to condescend again.
"2Timothy," I'm learning of you.
So says me, I didn't quote the pope. None of the early reformers support your fad theology, and your hostility towards anything Catholic is typical of Bible cults founded less than 15 years ago. You can't trace your inventions back to the Apostles, the Early Church Fathers, or even the early reformers. Modernism is the synthesis of all heresies, which sparked the fundamentalist movement in reaction against it, as well as papal encyclicals condemning it. Whether you realize it or not, you are a Modernist. So says the pope.
Jesus himself is a human person. (Note: Trinitarianism teaches us that Jesus is not a human person.)
God himself isn’t a human person.
A human person having a mother isn’t a controversial concept. God himself having a mother is a controversial concept.
You're avoiding your original objection.Jesus is a human person. I’ve quoted Catholic and Protestant scholarship which says that he isn’t a human person.
WRONG.The article fails because the author only mentions Marks account, where two Mary's are named at the crucifixion. The discrepancy is settled by Johns account which names the three, that one absent from Marks being, guess? Mary Magdelene, the sister of Lazarus, the disciple whom Jesus loved.
You're avoiding your original objection.
YOU said:

Explain to me WHY this is 'controversial" - given the reality of the Hypostatic Union (FULLY human & FULLY God).
Perfect! God bless you too!Huh? Your not going to condescend again? When did you the first time?
It looks like you are unable to name a single blasphemous teaching so I guess our conversation is done and your words are hollow.

THE BROTHERS OF JESUS by Brant Pitre - THE SPLENDOR OF THE CHURCH If you insist on twisting and distorting SCRIPTURE ALONE evidence, I can't be bothered reading any more of your posts. Good bye.
You're NOT addressing the issue.God isn’t a human person.
You're NOT addressing the issue.
Jesus is 100% HUMAN as well as being 100% God.
Now - explain to me why you have a problem with calling Mary the "Mother of God" when Jesus, in His hypostasis, unites to Himself TWO Natures - Divine and Human - and these 2 natures are INDIVISIBLE.
book chapter and verse that states this......Jesus is 100% HUMAN as well as being 100% God.
Ahhhh, so you don't believe that Jesus is God.Jesus is a human person. God isn’t a human person.
Mary is the mother of Jesus, not the mother of God.
that was not the question, read, and answer post #72, and quit stalling....Ahhhh, so you don't believe that Jesus is God.
Got it.
Ahhhh, so you don't believe that Jesus is God.
Got it.
Mary was a "surrogate" mother?book chapter and verse that states this......
and lastly, Jesus don't have a Mother or father biologically. no woman is a mother of a "spirit", she is only a "birth mother of flesh and blood, but not a "spirit"... and I have scripture for that.
Mary was only the surrogate mother to the "BODY"/Flesh that JESUS .... "Came" in. and that's all.
now BOL, a direct question, "do a woman give birth to a spirit", yes or NO?
looking to hear your answer.
REMEMBER, Don't argue with 101G, argue with the scriptures, God Holy Word.

101G The "Spiritual Saboteur"
You're talking out of BOTH sides of your mouth.I’m not sure you do, but it appears to me that we were able to agree that trinitarianism teaches us that Jesus is a divine person, not a human person.
You're talking out of BOTH sides of your mouth.
FIRST, you say that Jesus is NOT a human person.
THEN, you say that Jesus IS a human person.
Sooooo, which is it??
Jesus is God and Jesus is Human.
Mary gave birth to the only Man God (Theanthropos).
sure,Mary was a "surrogate" mother?
Show me where the BIBLE makes this claim - Chapter and Verse, please.
