We had a drama over here in the U.K. of a man that actually did that, but for money not another women. It was based on a true story. Then, eventually him and his wife got out of the country and went abroad. His downfall was being photographed with someone , think it ended up on social media ( not sure ) In the end the police arrested both him and his wife. They are both out of prison now but nearly got away with it.
