Yes it is, it proves that hell is a myth that Christianity drew from other culture's.Not relevant
Provide evidence that hell is real please. You can use anything you want, like this.Well Project Panda... What do you believe?
The conxept of hell is real in rhe Christian faith. It ia not the final reating place... The lake of fire is.

Why ask me to provide evidence of hell instead of evidence of peace?Provide evidence that hell is real please. You can use anything you want, like this.
Seems like a fun place.
Even the Bible talks about Hades, which comes from the greek culture.Or it would prove hell predates judaism, which would only be as expected.
I wouldn't assume all these ancient cultures got everything wrong. They also had prophets of a sort, though the source of their revelations and how they were preserved would be questionable. God entrusted his words to the Jews.
So I am not surprised by ancient stories or prophesies that predate their recording by the Jews.

Get your own hell Christian's.Cool, I mean hot.
An afterlife is a common thing in human culture. Seems like God really did put eternity in the heart of men.
So the ancient greek word for hell ended up in the new testament which is written in ancient greek. Its not surprising.
I will start a thread, but where should I start it?

Heap's do.Or that other cultures have a concept of a universal truth
Rather it is evidence that so many completely screw up in their understanding of the nature of God.The fact that the concept of hell can be used to intimidate others around to accepting faith of a particular God is evidence that religion and hell is a man made concept.
Nah, let's go with what I've said for once. I think I've earned a skippy badge.Rather it is evidence that so many completely screw up in their understanding of the nature of God.
Name one thing you can do morally with God that I can't do morally without.
I don't, haven't you taken notice of the message of Genesis 2:17What exactly is 'morality' in a godless universe? By what objective standard do you gauge right and wrong, good and evil?
Actually, I'm not disagreeing with you. Just giving what you said a sharper focus. The concept of hell, at least the predominant idea of eternal torment, was born of a distortion of the nature of God, and yes, rooted in paganism. Religion was the vehicle for its establishment.Nah, let's go with what I've said for once. I think I've earned a skippy badge.
