PS: the King of the earth rise up in Rev 9 and are described as locusts, but then you have trouble linking all of the events in the Book of Revelation into their correct chronological order.
Jay, the locust creatures are not the kings of the earth. Here is one person's conceptual rendering of the locust creatures described in Revelation 9.

The term "locust" is used a number of times in the OT to describe people, particularly fighting people. 10 of the 12 spies that Moses sent to spy out the land of Canaan described the inhabitants of Canaan as locusts.

It seems that you are again missing the connections that can be found in the scriptures.

Your assumption is that the Book of Revelation is a linear revelation in time, but the reality is that Rev 19 and Rev 20 both have the same starting point in time which is the judgement of the heavenly hosts as the beast is a heavenly host as is Satan.

Shalom
Revelation 19 is not a thousand year long event. Revelation 19 is the point of Armageddon, which leads to Satan defeated and bound in the pit. Revelation 20 takes off where Revelation 19 ends.

The heavenly host is released as the first woe with the 5th Trumpet. Certainly the 5th Trumpet comes before Armageddon, not a thousand years later.

Mystery Babylon is only the 42 months of extended time given to Satan after the 7th Trumpet sounds. If no 42 months, then no mystery Babylon, and no Armageddon either. Revelation 20 would come immediately after Revelation 14, and chapters 15 through 19 would be moot revelations.

Revelation 19 is not the Second Coming. Revelation 19 is the return to take back the throne in Jerusalem after the 8th kingdom, mystery Babylon, had occupied that throne for 42 months.

So, what you are trying to say is that Rev 19 and Rev 20 are not parallel revelations and as such Rev 19 cannot span over 1,000 years.

Well, it is good to know your expertise on these two chapters and other events that will occur that are also mentioned in the Book of revelation.

Now where on this forum can I give you a star rating? Seems it is not a feature, and we are limited with those confused Smilies which can communicate peoples' feelings about other peoples' posts.
