It is an odd way though to boycott Chinese goods by causing an immediate impact and logistical product crisis on this grand scale. It is hurting the American consumer and adding into the national inflation, labor turndown and stress mix. It will start a trade war, if we are not in one already, along with this logistics mess. It just does not add up to me. It is then a suicidal approach to really placing this country into a tail spin for sure.Hey @APAK, et.al.,
EXCELLENT and insightful article, -- and one point which has been gaining traction is that the "Supply Chain" ships sitting idle off the coast of Long Beach are NOT due to a Trucker Shortage, or Dock Worker Shortage, or any other "Shortage". Apparently our TRUE GOVERNMENT (Military working with PRESIDENT Trump) are PUNISHING CHINA for their Election Interference. So THIS IS AN INTENTIONAL BOYCOTT of Chinese Merchandise.
And maybe in the end our U.S. manufacturing behemoth will be incentivized to Start Back Up, and take back our Products and Jobs from China!

Several unvaccinated government employees, including active-duty military members, who were named in the lawsuit challenging the president’s vaccination mandate as illegal were granted a temporary restraining order on Thursday by a federal judge in Washington.
The plaintiffs are requesting a religious exemption from the Biden vaccination requirement for federal employees, which was originally disclosed officially on September 9.
