According to the CDC the age-adjusted death rate increased by 15.9% in 2020. They also state that COVID was the third leading cause of death in 2020, after heart disease and cancer.

According to Statistics Canada, there were 5,535 more deaths than expected in 2020 (there was a total of 62,203 deaths), which represents an increase of 8.9%.

The Australian numbers for 2020 are very similar to the previous 5 years, but they have also had very rapid and decisive responses to COVID, which seem to have worked.
Also remember that the COVID restrictions put in place by these countries have had an effect on OTHER deaths as well. For instance, less travel means fewer road fatalities. Measures put in place to stop the spread of COVID also mean fewer deaths from other communicable diseases like the flu. It's really hard to just take a base number like the death rate and apply intelligent meaning to it.
Claims made by very cooked and suspect input data.. A very questionable test with a clear financial incentive ( and possibly political) to code everything as Covid regardless of actual cause of death, no autopsy to confirm actual cause of death and no 3rd party review of the claims to properly vet them.
What proof do you have of this happening? I'm sure it happens occasionally and on a small scale, but it seems very unlikely to be happening on a large scale. Hospitals I suppose might have a financial incentive to misrepresent COVID cases, but doctors are the ones who decide what goes on a death certificate, not hospitals. I imagine there's also a huge amount of legal liability for misrepresenting the cause of death which hospitals wouldn't want to risk. Plus, of all the people that die in a hospital only 5-10% of those are labelled as COVID related. That's a pretty small financial incentive for a multi-billion dollar corporation when you consider the risks involved.
I agree that there appears to be a small amount of incentive and that there's a very remote chance it could be happening on a large scale, but there's just nowhere near enough evidence to support such a theory.
CDC's own documentation originally states it can skew the data plus interviewing numerous medical professionals and directly asking them.
The "liability" is the express and implied threats against professional licenses for those who don't 'toe" the ministry of truths line.

According to the WHO, the newly found strain, called Mu, was initially discovered in Colombia and has now been verified in at least 39 countries. Although the global prevalence of the mutation among sequenced cases has decreased to below 0.1%, it has steadily climbed in Colombia and Ecuador.
The newly-identified COVID-19 Mu strain poses no immediate threat to the US, the Biden administration's chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said at a news briefing on Thursday.
"We’re paying attention to it, we take everything like that seriously, but we don’t consider it an immediate threat right now," Fauci said.
Moreover, according to Fauci, despite the fact that the COVID-19 vaccines were designed to combat the original strain, they are still highly effective against the Delta variant, which is currently responsible for over 99% of new infections in the US.
"Remember, even when you have variants that do diminish somewhat the efficacy of vaccines, the vaccines still are quite effective against variants of that time," he explained.
Mu, also officially named B.1.621 by scientists, was added to the World Health Organization's list of variants "of interest" on Monday, the agency's weekly COVID-19 epidemiology report revealed on Tuesday.
"This variant has a constellation of mutations that suggests that it would evade certain antibodies, not only monoclonal antibodies, but vaccine- and convalescent serum-induced antibodies," the US COVID-19 czar added. "But there isn’t a lot of clinical data to suggest that, it is mostly laboratory in-vitro data."
In the US, the Delta strain is still the most common of all identified within the nation's territory, and the Mu strain "isn’t even close to being dominant," according to Fauci.
“We’re keeping a very close eye on it,” Fauci added, however.

Wow... What a beautiful morning to go fishing for trout... The water looks like a mirror...
Ive already seen a blue wren up close, gorgeous little birds...
I love the reflection of the surrounding trees, mountains and even the sun can be seen off the mirror surface of the water
I see bubbles rising to the surface... Probably crayfish
And i see the odd ripple on the surface... Maybe trout taking flies on the surface
Bring it on babay... This is the life

Thanks for that APAK I will tell him, he is a Truly born again Christian and knows the Jab is trash and all that and more but he seen no way around it and he is not happy about having his rights undermined like that at all.
Now my Children are going to get the Covid Jab and my wife is threatening me full on that I will have to get the Coved Jab as well. stating that our baby is going to be moving and working across the Border, so stating I will have to get the Jab so that I can go down to help my 23yo baby or without the Jab I will not be allowed to cross the borders
. So I am made to look like a @#$%^& if I don't get the experimental Jab. ! because I will not be able to help my Child and thereby labelling me as a schmuck
.No one is putting a experimental drug in me I point out, I would have about as much faith in the local drug'o up the road give me a Jab of whatever he sells than something from Pfizer who has been fined $4.7 Billion over the years for false claims, safety violations and corrupt practices and kick backs and bribery, now if all that is true why the hell would I take anything form such a Company for a start. let alone who owns it that I know of I would not trust such at all. So were is the MSM on all this hushing such things up or not letting people question such.
We should be looking at taking on and sueing the MSM for breach of duty to the peoples intrusted into such that they claim to be the watchdog of corruption, most People believe that the MSM is their watchdog and hold such huge faith in them in fact that they believe them to be an authority beyond all in fact.
How many people have said to me that they have such faith in the MSM that such would call out anything if it was worthy of exposing. Well that's how uninformed and deluded most people are, they claim who am I to call them out, well I can call them out on so many things over the years that it's not a joke, I question everything I read and more often than not I find out down the track that I was right.
The MSM is the biggest Whore in the history of the world, it was They who aided Hitler's Nazi crap in fact and all the Communist and all the dictators to Power in fact. and I get people getting on their high horse demanding no they didn't ! well fact is Yes they did but the truth is hard to swallow sometimes ! remember what Jesus said, That he is not of this world and fact is there is a very good reason for that.
I do have faith in Vaccines but I do not have blind faith especially in experimental such things.
