Footage circulating on social media shows Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern ordering New Zealand citizens to reject Covid-19 information from any sources other than the government itself.
In video from May 2020 once again making its rounds on social media in the wake of the
White House’s campaign against online misinformation, Ardern tells New Zealanders to “trust” the government as they will be the sole arbiters of truthful information.

“You can also trust the director general of health and the ministry of health.
“For that information do feel free to visit at any time to clarify any rumor you might hear covid19.govt.nz; otherwise, dismiss anything else.
“We will continue to be your single source of truth. We will provide information frequently.”
Here’s another angle of the exchange:
Asked by a reporter at the time about online chatter that New Zealand would soon be entering a nationwide lockdown (which it did), Arden claimed those rumors were disinformation.
“That’s the kind of thing that adds to the anxiety people feel. So I continue to share the message: New Zealanders must prepare, but do not panic, prepare. Snd when you see those messages, remember that unless you hear it from us it is not the truth.“
Of course, in hindsight, we now know New Zealand was one of the worst offenders when it came to imposing authoritarian lockdown restrictions — and that Arden was flat out lying when she claimed the online speculation was merely rumor.
The video shot during the build-up to the lockdowns last year illustrates how globalists have been attempting to vilify social media rumors, which often turn out to be factual, and position themselves as unquestionably truthful authorities since the beginning of the contrived pandemic.
