EG ended his post saying, I shouldn’t be harassed for my choice, and there was dumbfounded silence in my mind for at least 30 seconds. I’m not sure who he thinks is harassing him. Almost the whole world seems to be lauding him for his choice. That’s why I posted what I did.
Another poster elsewhere, (maybe not even in this thread I don’t remember), said you guys are scaring people. I highly doubt you have scared anyone. Caused them to scoff at you maybe but scared them? I don’t think so.

I guess if you are not being told how your going to die by taking some poison vaccine, Or how foolish you are to take this vaccine. Or don;t have to worry about your daughter hearing someone tell her the vaccine that could have saved her mothers life is the mark of the beast etc etc

I originally came here looking for fellowship and unity.... after a year... I don't bother... lol

I am beginning to think it is just a different social media platform with the same issues. I defiantly lost the love I had along time ago when I came in. A few people can make it bad for everyone.

Why don’t you start a petition and get signatures that people should not be able to talk about or give their thoughts on the vaccine?

I am beginning to think it is just a different social media platform with the same issues. I defiantly lost the love I had along time ago when I came in. A few people can make it bad for everyone.

I am discovering one has to make their own TRAIL here.... I am learning how to be invested in a way that matters ( to me ).... there is a steep learning curve for me... because I don't do ATTITUDE very well... and when I lose TRUST.... It's a done deal.
I have learned to keep most of my posts light-hearted.... I come into these covid threads because some of my preferred people enjoy hanging out here. I am having a really difficult time understanding what people's version of Christianity seems to be.... I don't match up with the majority here.

I actually think the pressure has only started NOW... the REAL pressure....

In Canada the government ( as of September 22nd ) has mandated MOST work places to be fully vaccinated... inclusive of all social gatherings of large crowds. I am no longer able to enter a restaurant legally. Up until this summer... the vaccines were voluntary except for health care workers.

I had two guys who had to make that decision if they wanted to still work at a data center as a contractor from my company. They did not have to take the jab, but if they did not they would be banned from entering the site. and have to return to me.

One person is deciding to not get the jab, and is mad. But is accepting the consequences.

The other two decided to get the shot. because continuing to resist was to them not worth losing the opportunity that had at these sites.

One guy actually God covid before he got the shot. and based on what he went through, Wants to get the shot because he does not want to go through it again.

its going to be a tough choice more many, But this is nothing new that has not happened before

I was tld I was banned from school until I had the measles shot. Even though i was exposed 5 times and had a doctors note stating I was immune

The school system did not care. Get the vaccine or else. Which I my parents did. and I was allowed to go back to school This was 50 years ago

Its not the first time and it wont be the last.

This should have been a NON issue.... the government took over and handled things very very badly ( at least in my opinion ). It is now illegal for me to enter a restaurant.... or attend a movie theatre... or a concert... I honestly NEVER thought I would see this day... and it all happened so fast.

It's the FEAR being instilled on ALL sides that makes me so angry... and it is indeed coming from our own Christian family.

What should have been a medical issue became politicized... and well... It's going to get worse.

I feel for those who DON'T want this but have to .... to support their families.... that is NOT right or proper for ANY civilization.

if we look at the division we have seen these past 5 years. we see that we are so divided. if the other side wants it, It must be evil. Or we can't even think of telling them what a good dies that is, because it may cost us votes. I fear we are past hope unless something major happens I am not even sure another 9/11 will help/ The Dems will blame trump and the Republicans will blame Biden. and everyone will try to use it for their own advantage to get what they want done.

She was insulting me that I did not understand, I understand the issue at hand as I spend hours every day on gathering information on the issue, but I had to let it slide and not push the issue, but I am 60yo and if I need advice I will ask for it ! she is in her 80's and I only touched on the subject of that issue of hers may be why and then I realised my mistake to bring that up with her . I am not good at lying and I am not allowed to say that my Aunty is dead to her, not to mention I know that I will be flamed for not telling her if she does get better.
