So they're outside because they want to be. It looked so nice. I like doing church outside. We used to have our services outside all summer!

Just when I thought the Covid hysteria couldn’t get any worse…
Biden takes us to a new level of insanity.
Lord, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
Is it God’s will that we obey this government?
"Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God." (1 Peter 2:13-16)
How can it be? Once you take one shot, it will never end. It will be endless shots for everyone if they get away with this tyranny.
God give us wisdom.

How I read it... you have used the Lord's name in vain... You started your post with His name at the beginning...
Unless you were talking to Him when you made your post... it's considered swearing.
We are to have a reverence and respect for our holy God. Why? Because He is good to us and does not treat us as we deserve.

That's not my definition of using the Lords name in vain... There is no vanity in the post
I'm not trying to be trivial... and I don't care how anyone speaks... but this my friend is using the Lord's name in vain.
I'm not going to NAG you to remove it... I thought you would catch it and remove it yourself...
Anyways... not my business.

When you reference the name of the LORD like you did.... JC... and then go on to make a statement that has NOTHING to do with HIM... That is using the name of the Lord in vain...
You smash your toe and hurt yourself.... JC. ( that is using the Lord's name in vain ).... it's not about vanity...
It's about using the Lord's name WASTEFULLY and DISRESPECTFULLY....
I am not one to correct anyone... but your post made me cringe.... the F bomb does not bother me... along with all the swear words on the market... the words I hear go in one ear and out the other.... BUT... when someone says ... J C ... I cringe.

There is nothing vain about the post...
and I accept what you have stated. I was simply trying to explain what using the Lord's name in vain is.

I'm not interested in starting a topic on this... It could be a cultural thing....as you don't seem to see this as I do.
If the mods are good with it.. than I will simply ignore it. I understand there is a deeper meaning to using the name of the
Lord in vain... but the first rule for me... is don't use JESUS name to curse/cuss.... that is how I took your post... when you
inserted the Lord's name as your first word.
