“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (1 John 3:9) (KJV 1900)Self deception allow one to believe whatever they wish.
Satan experienced God and still rebelled.
Only good people would choose God. You know, birds of a feather... water seeks it's own level.... type of thing. The only problem, there are none righteous, no not one.I never said such a thing. Please respond to my actual post:
Somebody who forces someone to believe something is a brainwasher.
Somebody who forces themselves on another is a rapist.
Somebody who treats something just to kill it is a murderer.
Somebody who forces people to gruesome burning is a extreme narcissist.
Do you worship such a being?
What about infants and those beyond the reach of the gospel?IF you can be saved (born-again) before you choose to believe, confess and repent then you don't need Jesus!!
This doesn't mean of course sinless perfection, but when there is that element of Divine life in a person by the new birth by which the believer enjoys the victory (1 Corinthians 15.57), it's not from that life element in Christ that the urge to sin comes, but from indwelling sin (Romans 8).“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (1 John 3:9) (KJV 1900)
Well, exactly; Romans 3.23.Only good people would choose God. You know, birds of a feather... water seeks it's own level.... type of thing. The only problem, there are none righteous, no not one.
He resists the proud. I’ll never forget the day he told me I’ve done nothing to be proud of.Only good people would choose God. You know, birds of a feather... water seeks it's own level.... type of thing. The only problem, there are none righteous, no not one.
Are YOU going to answer my question? Thus far, you have refused to several times, and I am admittedly getting annoyed.Ephesians 2.1-9:
"And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Amen.
You are hiding and refusing to answer the question.MATTHEW 11:6
The answer is what you’ve stated are the attributes of man. NOT MY GOD!You are hiding and refusing to answer the question.
Here is a strong answer to what you said in the passage from Ephesians 2 quoted:Are YOU going to answer my question? Thus far, you have refused to several times, and I am admittedly getting annoyed.
Does the being you worship force? Or does he give choice? The answer is what you’ve stated are the attributes of man. NOT MY GOD!
I didn’t see it as a choice when he revealed my stateDoes the being you worship force? Or does he give choice?
I would honestly love to hear how he is not a god of force, but of love.
Force is not love. Here is a strong answer to what you said in the passage from Ephesians 2 quoted:
"...Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved )..."
Only the sovereign intervention of God by grace even when we were dead in sins could do it. So the Scriptures teach.
And did you *accept* God?I didn’t see it as a choice when I realized my state
Again:
Somebody who forces someone to believe something is a brainwasher.
Somebody who forces themselves on another is a rapist.
Somebody who treats something just to kill it is a murderer.
Somebody who forces people to gruesome burning is a extreme narcissist.
Do you worship such a being?
I do not.
I worship the God of love in the scripture. The God whom loves all people, whom gave His life so that whomever believes on Him shall be saved. Not a God of force, but a God of love. Not the being of Calvinism.
Yes but only because he chose to reveal first. Anything else is just a dead prideful goat. And did you *accept* God?
Accept = voluntary choice. Not a forced one.
Does God reveal this truth to everyone?Yes but only because he chose to reveal first. Anything else is just a dead prideful goat.
Total Sanctification is false. Calvinism is false.“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (1 John 3:9) (KJV 1900)
Only where it doesn't agree with scripture.Total Sanctification is false. Calvinism is false.
It appears that he resists the proud.Does God reveal this truth to everyone?
