Making Disciples

In this follow-up to the 4 eternal destinies I present how this teaching can benefit the church in fulfilling Christ's command to make disciples. Furthermore, I detail what to look for in a potential disciple and what to avoid, as well as lay out the importance of maintaining a humility and a fear of the Lord throughout the process.

Nathaniel, the Israelite in whom there was no guile...an honest man who was a God-seeker and who was quickly won over to Christ because of an open heart and mind. Nathaniel was sensitive to God's presence. I see him like David...a man after God's heart.

It's one thing to evangelize the unbelievers...into the first cut of the Christian walk...but quite another to engage in discipleship evangelism among those who now believe they have no further need to repent and be converted into the 2nd cut.

What is very rare these days are those who understand what God is looking for. Everything is so bent n what people are looking for.

Are we to heed the warnings in the bible that concern God's people? Are we now also God's people? Are we morally superior to God's people in the past? Or can we learn from those who have gone before us?

It's one thing to evangelize the unbelievers...into the first cut of the Christian walk...but quite another to engage in discipleship evangelism among those who now believe they have no further need to repent and be converted into the 2nd cut.

What is very rare these days are those who understand what God is looking for. Everything is so bent n what people are looking for.

Are we to heed the warnings in the bible that concern God's people? Are we now also God's people? Are we morally superior to God's people in the past? Or can we learn from those who have gone before us?

Like you get many that say, i am saved dude, i said that i believe once ! peroid !

But if one is truly save and you meet another who is truly Saved, then it's a joy to talk about the Lord Jesus till the cows come home ! and you can not wait to talk with that person again ! why well it's because you are both on fire for Christ Jesus in fact ! a lukewarm person does not inspire anyone ! and will not bother to talk about such things.

When Jesus met Nathaniel, he knew that he was a worthy Israelite, Bingo ! and what did Jesus say to Nathaniel, regarding what he will see ?
Not to mention what the word Nathaniel truly means ?

I find Nathaniel to be a Key point, that must not be dismissed, he must be preached for what Jesus said to him is a must be understood. then as is said you will See what Jesus said to Nathaniel what he would see ! you must see this as well !

Yes. A surface conversion leads to superficial fellowship. A deeper conversion brings the love. :)

a true conversion to JESUS the CHRIST will CONFESS HIS NAME ,and by the SPIRIT will have good works .
A false conversion , a lip only one but not in heart , will maybe lip stuff , but its works and even words will DENY CHRIST .
I have seen such false conversions .
Many there be . And now the many are uniting as one again
under the guise that its not necessary to have to FIRST BELEIVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST
that even the unbelievers somehow can pick up their own cross and do their own stuff .
Do you know of anyone like that epi . cause i sure do .

BELIVING GOD rose HIM From the dead , AND by the SPIRIT would have good fruits , good works .
But another spirit has come to take captive christendom and the false religions to buy a lie .
A lie that implies oh there are good people in every religoin who do love GOD .
Number one , NONE IS GOOD
number two if one believes NOT the testimony that GOD gave OF HIS SON , that BE JESUS THE CHRIST ,
then they call GOD a liar . THEY CALL GOD A LIAR epi . dont sound like love to me .

HAD YOU TRULY LOVED GOD YOU WOULD HAVE LOVED ME .

What motivates a person to disparage discipleship? What spirit is that? The devil doesn't care if the the whole world goes to church and gives lip-service to God. But try to find just one disciple...and the powers of hell will try to extinguish that light in the world. Of course nothing can prevail against those who God empowers and protects. Darkness will not prevail over light. :)

Your shallow understanding will prove your own failure. Turn to the Lord in honest repentance...and quit judging from your religious pride. You will be judged as you judge. Declaring Jesus is no guarantee of a happy judgment. Many will say, Lord, Lord, and be rejected. Grandstanding comes from pride. Humility is far better. Those who judge others with their own understanding will be judged. God works a lot deeper than most people think. Most people have a god that thinks just like them...but that's NOT GOD. God is real. He is separate from people and their thoughts and ways.

Lean not on your own understanding..

God is and always has been looking for FAITH, no?

And the particular lessons we are to learn from the bad attitude of many of Israel's leaders at the time is that we are to love the lost (as we all once were ourselves), not judge and look down on them, and that the gospel of Messiah Christ and opportunity to become one of God's people and be saved through that gospel is open to all.

On the contrary, it's from leaning on man's own humanistic and man-centred understanding that has many folks believing people can be saved and receive eternal life apart from Christ. The scriptures are clear on how man may be saved, and they teach outright that one's own righteousness cannot save a person. Seems that some are deceived by an appearance of man's righteousness when God says the heart of man is deceitfully wicked who can know it. The gospel is nothing less than the mystery of God hid from the foundation of the world......and God did nothing about solving the sin issue and saving man from His wrath for a very long time, but now since Jesus came He commands all men everywhere to REPENT. I would think that those who would diminish the gospel and lead souls astray by teaching that it's optional are going to have a lot to answer for on the day of judgment, so hope they reconsider.

No one who is born again, can be rejected by Christ..... as God has become their Father, because Jesus has become their Savior and Eternal life.

Jesus does not reject His Redeemed, His Brethren, His Eternal family..... His "BRIDE".

Yeah, thats a favorite of Cross denying Heretics, who can't understand the Forgiveness of God, as Eternal or Free.

So, about that verse....

Jesus said......'i never KNEW YOU">.. = DEPART".

So, how does Jesus KNOW YOU..? = "KNOW you"..???

How does that happen?

It happens when Christ comes to live in the born again believer which causes them to become THE "temple of the Holy Spirit".

So, that is how Christ "KNOWS" those who are HIS....they are His "" BRIDE""....= because He Lives IN THEM, as "Christ IN YOU< the hope of Glory".

What does that mean?
It means that if Christ told a born again Christian to "depart, i never knew you" then He would be telling that to the very born again person in whom Christ RESIDES who is His "Bride"" and His "BODY of Christ'

A.) Not going to happen..

B.), Christ would be lying to tell a Christian He does not "know them" when in Fact, Christ is "IN THEM", and they are "IN Christ",.. they are His '""BRIDE""".. .They are His REDEEMED...... and they are "ONE WITH GOD", having become a SON/Daughter of God.

So, if a HERETIC tells you that a Christian can be told to "depart, i never KNEW YOU".. then just have a good laugh as you are dealing with a Theological pride filled FOOL..
