2nd look
Agreed. It's not the initial thought...It's what we do with it.
All behavior is conceived in the mind and ratified in the heart......
Once it is ratified, we may be able to delay acting on it, but eventually it will be carried out.
'I see' 'I want' 'I will get'
Self serving behavior learned in the Garden, echos through time.
Our only hope is to be justified and sanctified - to learn how to change our focus from ourselves towards God, which is true repentance.
Wow! That is so spot on I have goosebumps!

i read somewhere that if you look just "to admire the beauty" its not lust...until you think of sexual thoughts
That's not always the case.
Lust -
1. obsolete a : pleasure, delight b : personal inclination : wish
2: usu. intense or unbridled sexual desire : lasciviousness
3a : an intense longing : craving <a lust to succeed> b : enthusiasm, eagerness <admired his lust for life>

As in "He was driven by the lust for power" or "I lust for chocolate". It is an intense, unhealthy desire for something. Whether it be a house, car, promotion, power, or sexual.
