Oh I agree...children are for young people...they have the energy!
Once I passed 60 I only wanted them in 'small doses.'
I very much enjoyed having them for a whole day...but I also enjoyed giving them back haha!!

I know how it is.
Today I had to work. ( Which is busy brain work) so when I get home I am shattered.
I get so tired that sometimes I can't read posts with more than one paragraph long....and even then I have a hard time taking it in!!

I have been really busy these last two days.
I only work 2 days a week. I work for my son-in-law, he is a surgeon.
I would like to have retired long ago...but my daughter doesn't want to hire someone for just two morning......so I "plod on"
My "plan" was to retire at 72, but here I am 4 years later and still working!! Ha!
It gets me out of the house, so that is good.
I causes me to "dress up" so that is good too.
It keeps the old grey cells working...so that is good. :)

Wow...do we ever have high winds today!! It's hot in the house...but the wind is far too high to have the windows wide open...just cracked ...but then it whistles.

Well, they all went shopping, [ all 10 ] and I stayed home,,,,, to many different stores they were
going to ! So to much for me......
We have had a leak in the pipes and were not able to wash dishes except in the b.R. sink.
So the kitchen was loaded with all sorts of dishes silver ware , etc.....pots...etc. for 3 day's.
So I walked away from my computer and went for over a hour and did a lot of them.
My D.D.I.L. will be happy and pleased, and thank me a lot , but she cooks special for
me since I cant have dairy and a few vegetables..... so that kind of evens it out for me.

We have sun today and a little warmer then yesterday.. but still does not feel like spring....

Cold and miserable here today...so I did sewing most of the day.
Trouble is, when the weather turns cooler again...I just want to EAT!!! haha!

Most people cant sleep after having coffee, I can and some times it helps me to sleep , yep

Helen, I just got back from my long walk to the mail box...... years ago it seems so short he he..
old age sure is different then I thought.... I keep for getting my girl friends birthday.
It was two weeks ago. I have know her since we were 4 and 5 years. she is the 4.
We lived one house apart..

But now the cool wind has returned, and the sun is watery. It does not inspire any gardening!! haha!

Well , you are obviously better off than us here...
I hope we get some sunshine soon...7 weary long months...we now need SUNSHINE!!!
I do take 3,000 iu's of vitamin D daily, because of our long winters.

We have been in need for 2 day's now....... Electricity has been off....... Oh...
It just came on a half hour ago. I quick washed some dishes, because they have been
piling up ...... with such a large family... that is so easy to do........

what a good feeling to hear the fridge on again........ wow......... I guess I better go
