I don't have the patience to sit through a movie. I have Amazon Prime, Hulu and Direct TV, but I can't find anything that will hold my attention for more than a few minutes.

I don't have the patience to sit through a movie. I have Amazon Prime, Hulu and Direct TV, but I can't find anything that will hold my attention for more than a few minutes.

Well, can't blame you too much. It's not easy to find a good movie.
I have very high standards for watching good movies.
But I've lowered them a lot since I got Netflix! What junk.
But my back aches a lot so it's a good thing for me to do.
Every now and then there'll be a good one.
I liked The Hereafter - Clint Eastwood, director.
We all have different tastes...

Yea........ One of the grand daughters has a Birthday today..... she is going to pick a movie..

We do not have regular TV stations , we just use it to watch tape , vcrs what ever they are called.....

To much junks and bad stuff on the programs these day's.....

in my time there were a lot of nice family programs now ugggg...............

And here where I live the weather is very temperate and pleasant right now, and should last through the winter. Snow is rare. Very rare.

I remember coming home from Korea. I left on a Wednesday 1:30 pm, landed in California that same Wednesday at 1:00 pm. I picked up 30 minutes.

I second that.
If I were raising a family today, I wouldn't want a TV in my house.
I have Netflix for movies and they also have TV series.
I'll try to watch the new ones. Some are OK.
(not that I can really watch a series)
But most of them...oh my. The language!!
Kids hear this on their TV! At home!
It's horrifying. I shudder to think what the future generations will be like.
No wonder there's so much violence and suicide...
