Jewish monotheism isn’t the same as Jewish mysticism.

In the New Covenant... we go by the Law of Christ since the old covenant has been done away with by Jesus Who in turn established a New Covenant.

Hebrews 10:9
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
(God said He would make a New Covenant - see Jeremiah 31:31-34)

So enjoy all the Jewish monotheism you want... I'll stick with the New Covenant Jesus has established.

The Messiah, the apostles and the primitive Christians are Jewish monotheists.

Ever see all the scriptures about the Father?
Ever see all the scriptures about the Jesus?
Ever see all the scriptures about the Holy Spirit?

... apparently not....

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The Father, the Son, and the Spirit... are One... and yet they are three... as One!

Pretty hard to explain away something scripture clearly tells us which is... One is Three, and the Three are One.

In fact.... you and I are three that is one (we are a spirit, we possess a soul, and we live in a body)

1 Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

After all... the Lord did create man in His Own Image.

Genesis 1:26
God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness

That's the Father, the Word, and the Spirit saying "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness"

What does that have to do with the fact that Jesus, the apostles and the earliest Christians were Jewish monotheists? I see what they saw.

There is one God... the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost

Do you reject Jesus and the Holy Ghost?

Jesus and His Apostles did not.... which is obvious from what God says in His Word.

That’s not Jewish monotheism.

Then so called "Jewish monotheism" is false doctrine since it does not acknowledge the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost

The Jews have rejected Jesus as Messiah... so those getting their doctrine from people that embrace anti-christ doctrines is pretty slow clueless-doh.gif

Those teaching "Jewish monotheism" do reject Jesus... so why would anybody want to listen to them??? clueless.gif

That’s wild. (And, wilder still, this is the second time today I’ve come across it.)

Jewish monotheism is the monotheism of the Hebrew Bible. Jewish monotheism is the monotheism of the New Testament. Jewish monotheism is the Messiah’s monotheism. Jewish monotheism is the monotheism of the apostles. Jewish monotheism is the monotheism of the primitive Christians.

The Jews have rejected Jesus as Messiah...

Not all of them.

See above.

Those teaching "Jewish monotheism" do reject Jesus...

Jesus himself embraced the creed of Jewish monotheism and taught that it is the greatest commandment.

… so why would anybody want to listen to them??? View attachment 56535

Listen to Jesus.

And yet He acknowledges and honors... the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Weird!

Listen to Jesus.

I do... and He acknowledges and honors... the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Weird!

There’s nothing weird about it.

His own God is only one person. Since you listen to him, you’ve heard him say it yourself.

OK, so do you acknowledge that you reject Jesus and the Holy Ghost?

You cannot have it both ways... God Himself acknowledges Jesus and the Holy Ghost because they are part of His being and came out from Him and... are Him and He is them.

Here’s a couple of passages of scripture nobody can explain away:

Matthew 3:16,17

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

1 John 5:7

That’s ludicrous. I’m a primitive Christian.

Do you think Moses was a trinitarian?
