This picture is from a wall painting in ancient Egypt, showing the Israelites in Egypt next to the Egyptians. The biggest difference is that the Egyptians were of the line of Ham while Israel came from the line of Shem. Even the skin color is different. While the two peoples lived in the same country, the Israelites lived apart (In Goshen) where Joseph had left them. Another difference is that the Egyptians were clean-shaven while the Israelites had beards. The Israelites wore clothing of different colors while Egyptians wore mostly white linen.
