You're very welcome!
But God stands by and watches as a pitbull rips a toddler apart limb by limb.
NotTheRock, God has a very good purpose for every evil he PERMITS to happen. Witness his allowing Satan to take away Job's family, wealth, and health. Those were Satan's fault entirely, not at all God's; but God showed us the persistence of true faith in Job's faithful clinging to God instead of giving up his faith and also showing that God is God, and Job was not, lessons that we can and should learn as will.

Open discussion….thoughts and feelings….
Is God responsible for what Satan does to you?
Can God stop Satan from doing things to you?
If Satan does something to you, does that mean God approved?
Is there something that we can do to prevent Satan from doing anything us?

These are questions I have received from people as young as ten years old to eighty years old.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

What if you lay bleeding and dieing….in the valley of death? What does that mean?
Using my limited human understanding, I think we need to be tested. I think maybe the Lord created Satan to do that.

No, I think that God created Satan good like all of creation and that he allowed Satan's rebellion to bring out of it our testing. Otherwise, God would be guilty of Satan's sin, which is not possible.

The Lord created us all, knowing that we would sin.

Yes, but it's our responsibility for our sinful rebellion, as it was Satan's, not God's.
The Lord created you, me, and Satan. He didn't tell any of us to sin, but he knew we would, and I think he then uses our sin, including Satan's sin, to further his cause.

Another example: He didn't tell Judas to sell out Jesus, but he did, and that became part of the story of the ministry of Jesus.

'Tis very true!
