Is God Really All Loving?

Sorry if there was already a topic created about this but @Bobby Jo and I were just talking about this privately and I finally thought of how to make it into a topic. (Ironically I was also just reading something in the Bible yesterday about how somebody wanted God to "calm down" even though His anger is always sinless.) Anyways, we were also just recently talking about on here how christianforums.com is pretty much a socialist liberalist website and we have a lot of former members on here. (@Heart2Soul and @Taken I want you to see this thread too.)





They believe that God is all loving, all accepting, and don't believe in the second amendment or that anybody should hold any accountability for their actions. That's where I have to say that I don't know what Bible they're reading, or why they think that they're promoting equality and freedom in America, but I think that they are absolutely one hundred percent crazy!! I got BANNED and SILENCED when I tried standing up to them and for my rights as an American and that really ticked me off!!

LOL, -- and it's not strictly a Forum that has this philosophy, it's Social Christianity in general. We all want to "play nice" and wait for GOD to act, when in fact WE ARE GOD'S AGENTS, and WE need to not only pray "on earth as it is in heaven", but also effect that objective.

And the interesting thing is that these Fraudulent Elections have drawn out the Righteous Indignation of a Righteous People, and I can't be more encouraged in their fortitude and perseverance! And we need to bring that SAME spirit into our home, job, and church.

I call 1 John 4 the Love chapter...it's all about God and love...verse 16 expressly says God IS Love.

I believe everything God does is done out of love....even His wrath and judgments. He gives us plenty of opportunity to repent and turn away from wickedness ..until there is no more He can do except turn them over to a reprobate mind.
It grieves Him that any should perish. But it also angers Him that we obey the lusts of our flesh over Him.

I AGREE, -- but because of a different Chapter, Matt. 23 which has many "Woe to you ..." and ends with:

Matt. 23:37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not! ​

It seems important that GOD rebukes those whom HE loves, while still calling them to his bosom. :)

He was not angry at you for He says, pick yourself up my child, let us keep walking. Eventually His Love overcomes us so much it is our only desire. It is then, that what we read about on pages, we experience even until the end of time.

I'm taking you off ignore because I saw this when I was logged and I realized that I didn't explain myself that well. What I meant by questioning whether or not God was all loving was that does God love everything we do and love the way we behave at all times and my answer to that was a definite no. Just like any parent of course. You can bet that He also doesn't love what this country is turning into. He gave us all free will, so you can bet that it's extremely important to Him that we keep it just as much as it's extremely important to us to keep America free. Also, forgot to tag @historyb on this thread.

It's a condunrum...
They believe, but do not follow, practice.
They are not reading, studying.
Typically made to go to church, when a child.
Typically, sure they are "all set"... with God.
Occasional "churchy" show, appeasing to Observers.
Problem ...
Easily swayed by Money, power desire.
Willingly to Two-step with an Atheist...
To get money & power.
Sways...the public observes ..."Must believe??? Eh? but cozy actions with Atheists" ??? Humm?

It's Disturbing... to Public believers.
It's Okay...with the Public with itchy hands.

God settles the matters of the heart...
They will either be crying Lord, Lord...didn't I do good things ... let me in.
Or
They will be called "the least" in Heaven.

Biden/ Pelosi/ some others are Catholics...probably popped out of the womb Catholic... but are willing to dance with Atheists one day (take a stash of Money use it to Force Strip Free men) and bow to the Pope the next day.

My views on this are pretty straightforward. For the most part, (with a few exceptions) if a Liberal tells you that they stand for and believe in having a free country they're lying to you. These are some of the things that I remember caused my banning on CF.




1. Stating the BLM was a terrorist organization.

2. Stating that Biden was the antichrist. (Examples including taking away our right to bear arms and banning our freedom of religion. Number two definitely isn't godly or for Christ so it has to be against Him.)


3. Saying insulting things about Biden even though they were true. (Only after they were insulting Trump first and they didn't have any consequences either I was the only one banned for it.)


4. Standing up for my unfair treatment and freedom of speech.






Now it is true that they're not all like that. @Michael1985 is a moderator on there and one of my best friends from that website and he has been in my corner all along. :)

People naturally want to hear you agree with them. When you don't, and express your disagreeing strongly. They tattle, boo hoo.

God doesn't kill anyone nor has he a desire to......if that is the thinking. People self destruct. The punishment is in fact self inflicted. The promise to Adam and Eve was just that.....ie, dying you will die.....self destruction!

If we take 1 John seriously we cannot have a God who claims love and kills at the same time....it is incongruent.

This raises questions re Old Testament records and their accounts. Many things can be said but until the questions are asked the specific answers carry no impact.

I would say this:- Jesus is the definitive word of God on this question. The buck stops with him. Hebrews 1 is clear.....God would rather die himself than kill. Unless we understand this about God we are faced with a major problem.

It's a little confusing what you're stating. But God is love and has love for all. Not that he doesn't judge us, which is clear from the beattitudes in the new Testament and the book of Revelation. I can dig up those verses if you need.

When I think of God I see a judge, police officer and court that separates the wicked from the just in order to allow for a peaceful heaven. But I'm not entirely sure his Holy Spirit isn't sufficient to create peace in the people there.
